Day 1
His ways are higher than my ways. His thoughts are way beyond what I think. His plans for me are good.
Praise you God for creating me. For designing me and making everything work wonderfully.
Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.
1Cor 8:1 With regard to food sacrificed to idols, we know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
1Cor 8:2 If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know.
1Cor 8:3 But if someone loves God, he is known by God.
Thank you God for being beyond what I know.
Not that I can’t know you more. I can know you so much (that it blows my mind) that it fills all my thoughts to overflowing. I love you and trust you. Increase the revelation of your love. Turn my focus from me and my things on to You. Turn my heart and mind and strength toward you.
God is beyond space and time. He exists at the beginning and end simultaneously. He is beyond time.
Rev 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God – the one who is, and who was, and who is still to come – the All-Powerful!
God is bigger than the biggest star. He is bigger than the universe and bigger than multi universes. He made all the stars and knows them by name.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Ps 147:4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
He is everywhere at one time. He doesn’t listen to that guy and I have to wait for him to get to me. He is fully attentive to me all the time. Because He is in all places at all times.
–
Day 2
– He cares about the smallest details
Matt 10:30 Even all the hairs on your head are numbered.
Matt 10:31 So do not be afraid; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
Every tiny detail of my life God is concerned with. He sees all the hairs of my head and cares about each one of them, every penny, all my needs. He is detail oriented.
Matt 6:30 And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, won’t he clothe you even more, you people of little faith?
He sees every blade of grass. He takes care of every tiny little thing.
Nothing is outside of His awareness.
He is attentive.
Praise you, Father for being good.
Thank you for caring.
When I think about how small I am in God’s eyes, I am amazed that He loves me and notices every thing I do and cares about the details in my life.
Help me to pay attention and see you in all the aspects of life.
Heb 2:1 Therefore we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
Heb 2:6 Instead someone testified somewhere: “What is man that you think of him or the son of man that you care for him?
Ps 144:3 O LORD, of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that you should be concerned about them?
Ps 144:4 People are like a vapor, their days like a shadow that disappears.
Thank you for noticing me Jesus.
John 3:16 For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:30 He must become more important while I become less important.”
–
Day 3
– He is involved with us on the most personal levels.
He designed us and knows what we need and how we work far better than we know ourselves. Does a car know it needs gas? Yet God knows we need Him to breathe.
Ps 139:13 Certainly you made my mind and heart; you wove me together in my mother’s womb.
He is watching right now. Its not in a creepy way though. It is like when i watch my children sleep or how I am concerned when they make mistakes and am sooo happy just to have them near me.
Ps 139:3 You carefully observe me when I travel or when I lie down to rest; you are aware of everything I do.
He wants us to grow in the knowledge of His love for us. He can be our best friend.
John 15:9-17 “Just as the Father has loved me, I have also loved you; remain in my love. 10 If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11 I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete. 12 My commandment is this – to love one another just as I have loved you. 13 No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. 17 This I command you – to love one another.
It is very much like human freindships. I have to say I’m sorry when I do wrong. I must mean it sincerely and deeply from my heart. I want to spend time with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit every day as much as I can. He is my best friend.
I trust Him.
It goes much deeper though. He knows me very intimately. He knows what I’ve done wrong and what He has helped me do right. He knows how I function and how to encourage me to function the way He created me to.
There is no one closer to the very essence of my core being than Jesus.
He is my groom. He loves me more intimately than a husband loves a wife.
Thank you God, for the precious way you know me. Teach me to know you more and to be a better friend. Thank you for always looking out for me in ways I don’t even know. Thanks for caring about me more than I have ever experienced humanly. Thank you for your supernatural friendship.

Day 4
– He is working
working for good
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,
John 5:17 So he told them, “My Father is working until now, and I too am working.”
Acts 13:41 ‘Look, you scoffers; be amazed and perish! For I am doing a work in your days, a work you would never believe, even if someone tells you.’”
Eph 3:20 Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,
working in us
He is giving
Rom 8:32 Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?
He is loving
He is delivering
Rom 8:21 that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children.
He is reconciling and ministering and healing
2Cor 5:18 And all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
He moves like the wind. Stirring our hearts
John 3:8 The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
It is not that God is changing. He is everywhere all the time. It is that my awareness of Him changes. I must turn to Him. I am ministering reconciliation at the same time I too am being reconciled to Him.
He moves me to grow in love toward Him. He is my nourishment and strength.
Praise you Jesus, Father, Holy Spirit for your ever present power pulsing through creation.

Day 5
– He gets credit because that is the truth
Eph 3:16 I pray that according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,
Eph 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
Eph 3:19 and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Eph 3:20 Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think, Eph 3:21 to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Anything good that I do is only because God enables me to do it.
Col 1:17 He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.
Even being able to breathe is because of God. I might know the lungs take in oxygen. I might be able to take a deep breath intentionally, but it is only through God’s provision that it happens, on its own, that I am sustained through His infinite goodness. It’s like a plant being kept alive by the sun. Take away the sun and the plant dies. I can not live without God’s continual presence.
I need to practice giving Him the glory for my own sake and to tell other people that the reason for anything good happening through me is only because of God. This is the truth.
It shines light on my pride and keeps it in check.
Father, this day is yours. Everything good in it is because of you. Moving my legs and lips only happens because you enable me to move and speak. Thank you for doing so much for me and for empowering me with your immense love.

Day 6
-He is speaking right now
Matt 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my one dear Son, in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!”
Maybe God is not talking out loud as He did when He told us to listen to Jesus. But I can hear things he has said by reading the Bible. I can hear Him in my own still small voice. I can ask for the Holy Spirit to interpret tongues and prophesy.
I think God is speaking all the time. That he spoke creation into existence and by His Word He sustains it. I think we have to tune into His words, to turn to Him, in order to hear and bear the fruit that He intends us to bear.
I think His word never returns void, which means some of what He has already spoke is still germinating in the ground, waiting for someone to hear it and produce what He intended it to produce.
God will guide all of us.
1Pet 2:25 For you were going astray like sheep but now you have turned back to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.
Luke 1:78 Because of our God’s tender mercy the dawn will break upon us from on high
Luke 1:79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
He does this by speaking to us.
John 10:3 The doorkeeper opens the door for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
John 10:4 When he has brought all his own sheep out, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.
Father, help me hear you today and conform myself to your will.
–
Day 7
-God is forgiving
Matt 6:12 and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors.
Father, forgive me and find in me all those I have not forgiven completely.
Luke 5:24 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” – he said to the paralyzed man – “I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher and go home.”
Eph 1:6 to the praise of the glory of his grace that he has freely bestowed on us in his dearly loved Son.
Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace
This is truly amazing. God let His only son die to cover our sins. To pay the price for our iniquity. There is no greater love.
It is hard for me to forgive and yet God stands with infinite forgiveness ready to pour it down on us to enable me to forgive my enemies and friends.
Especially in relationships it is imperative to forgive. What else is there when we make mistakes and act wrongly toward each other?
Col 1:13 He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves, Col 1:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
God’s forgiveness is un-merited and undeserved. And yet He gives it freely to us.
He welcomes us back like the prodigal son.
He is for us.
My only reaction is to love Him and to love him a lot because I have been forgiven a lot.
In fact the more I see of Him, the more I realize how unworthy and unholy I am. I have failed to do many things and I do many things wrong.
But I do not stay stuck in the mud. I believe He has forgiven me and I take care to offer that same forgiveness to everyone.
I believe in His forgiveness of me despite the unfathomable Ness of it.
Thank you, Jesus for this precious gift and for who you are and getting to know a part of you that is a precious and needed thing for me to grow in.

Day 8
-He is joyful
Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid! Listen carefully, for I proclaim to you good news that brings great joy to all the people:
Luke 2:11 Today your Savior is born in the city of David. He is Christ the Lord.
1Thess 1:5 in that our gospel did not come to you merely in words, but in power and in the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction (surely you recall the character we displayed when we came among you to help you).
1Thess 1:6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, when you received the message with joy that comes from the Holy Spirit, despite great affliction.
Rom 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Neh 8:10 He said to them, “Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Neh 8:11 Then the Levites quieted all the people saying, “Be quiet, for this day is holy. Do not grieve.”
Its not for me to be joyful all the time. To feel always happy. It is for me to turn to God. To see the great hope He has for all mankind. (humankind).
He sent his son, Oh the joy at that birthday.
God is full of joy.
He gives it freely to us when we need it. There is great strength in it. Jesus was able to endure the cross because of the joy after it.
I look forward to eternal life with you, Father, in complete joy when my frailties of mind and body do not impede the glorious joy that you have for me.
–
Day 9
-God is love
Love is important to God. He told us to love one another and that is only possible if we love Him with our whole heart and mind and strength.
He loves beyond what we know of love.
Father, help me to know the love you have for me better.
I believe you love me. I know you love everyone around me. Especially when they are difficult to love. Thank you for loving them through me even.
John 3:16 For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
I understand a little of what this means. I know the sacrifice of loosing a child. For you to choose this is beyond my understanding.
1John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God.
1John 4:19 We love because he loved us first.
1John 4:16 And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God resides in him.
God loves like no other. Love is so important to Him that He said it is Him. First there is love between the three persons of the trinity. Father loves Son loves Spirit loves Father. This love is eternal and active. It goes out to humanity through Jesus Christ and infuses us with the power to love each other.
What an amazing and glorious gift He has given us. Love through Jesus Christ. Our spirit joined intimately with His.
1Cor 13:4 Love (God) is patient, love (God) is kind, it (He) is not envious. Love (God) does not brag, it (He) is not puffed up.
1Cor 13:5 It (He) is not rude, it (He) is not self-serving, it (He) is not easily angered or resentful. 1Cor 13:6 It (He) is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth.
1Cor 13:7 It (He) bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Cor 13:8 Love (God) never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside.
–
Day 10
– God is trustworthy
I trust you God.
I know that you are for me.
Ps 16:7 I will praise the LORD who guides me; yes, during the night I reflect and learn.
Ps 16:8 I constantly trust in the LORD; because he is at my right hand, I will not be up-ended. Ps 16:9 So my heart rejoices and I am happy; My life is safe.
Ps 16:10 You will not abandon me to Sheol; you will not allow your faithful follower to see the Pit.
Ps 16:11 You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.
In you I trust
This is like building a friendship. God is constant. He is like no human friend. He is supreme.
Ps 37:5 Commit your future to the LORD! Trust in him, and he will act on your behalf.
Ps 37:7 Wait patiently for the LORD! Wait confidently for him! Do not fret over the apparent success of a sinner, a man who carries out wicked schemes!
Ps 37:8 Do not be angry and frustrated! Do not fret! That only leads to trouble!
Ps 37:9 Wicked men will be wiped out, but those who rely on the LORD are the ones who will possess the land.
Talk to Him and Listen, you will trust Him the more you know and experience what He does and Who He is.
Ps 65:2 You hear prayers; all people approach you.
Ps 65:3 Our record of sins overwhelms me, but you forgive our acts of rebellion.
Ps 65:4 How blessed is the one whom you choose, and allow to live in your palace courts. May we be satisfied with the good things of your house – your holy palace.
Ps 65:5 You answer our prayers by performing awesome acts of deliverance, O God, our savior. All the ends of the earth trust in you, as well as those living across the wide seas.
Ps 65:6 You created the mountains by your power, and demonstrated your strength.
Ps 65:7 You calm the raging seas and their roaring waves, as well as the commotion made by the nations.
Ps 65:8 Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by your acts; you cause those living in the east and west to praise you.
Praise you, God.

Day 11
– He is good
He also gives us all good things. Ps 84:11 For the LORD God is our sovereign protector. The LORD bestows favor and honor; he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.
Mark 10:18 Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
How do we as flawed human beings even know what good is? We don’t.
I can imagine what good is. I can dream of the ideal of good. But I don’t understand truly what pure good God is.
He is better than I know. I can only aspire and grow to understand His goodness.
We are created good and need to come back to how we were designed by Him to be.
1Tim 4:4 For every creation of God is good and no food is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.
3John 1:11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is bad but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does what is bad has not seen God.
Praise you, Father, because you are good. You are so good in fact that it is beyond my comprehension. Give me your power to become better in your kingdom.
Eph 5:1 Therefore, be imitators of God as dearly loved children
Eph 5:2 and live in love, just as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.
Eph 5:3 But among you there must not be either sexual immorality, impurity of any kind, or greed, as these are not fitting for the saints.
Eph 5:4 Neither should there be vulgar speech, foolish talk, or coarse jesting – all of which are out of character – but rather thanksgiving.
Thank you, Jesus, for being the opposite of evil. thank you for forgiving me and helping me repent and turn to you. You are the bright light which leads me away from darkness.

Day 12
– He is peaceful
Luke 7:50 He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
Luke 24:36 While they were saying these things, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.
Peace with God is valuable. I must reconcile with Him in order to have peace with Him. He then offers me a peace that is beyond comprehension. His gift that comes from who He is. A peace that is not of this world. A treasure and a guide.
His peace keeps me on track and helps me stay in His goodness despite the evil that surrounds me.
It is a peace that I extend to everyone in my life. Some reject it and some accept it. As I enter a place I greet the people there with Christ’s peace.
The peace of God is a precious gift to me. A lot of grace flows through it.
Acts 9:31 Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced peace and thus was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, the church increased in numbers.
The whole church experienced peace because Paul was converted by God. It is only the actions of God and the Holy Spirit which give us His peace.
Notice His peace encouraged them. It also strengthened them.
Thank you God for peace.
What a precious gift that your presence brings.
Peace to all the world. We can be reconciled to you through Jesus!
Help me continue to live in Your peace.
Rom 8:6 For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
–
Day 13
-He is one
Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling,
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
There is unity in God. We all become one in Him.
God is one. There are not three separate beings. There are not separate gods for each aspect of His majesty. He is one.
1Cor 8:6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we live, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we live.
Father, let me be one with you, through your Spirit.
Rom 15:5 Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus,
Rom 15:6 so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God, help us all become one with each other.
Mark 12:29 Jesus answered, “The most important is: ‘Listen, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’
Give me your strength to love you as I should. Turn my heart toward you in new ways today. Increase the intensity of my love for you. Help me to become more one with You.
Thank you Jesus.

Day 14
-He is humble
Phil 2:5 You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had,
Phil 2:8 He humbled himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross!
John 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you too ought to wash one another’s feet.
John 13:15 For I have given you an example – you should do just as I have done for you.
Ps 113:5 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
Ps 113:6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
We are to be humble and serve as He does.
Father, release me from all the lies of pride. That I do anything. All the good that is done through me is only because of you. Give me strength to serve as you do. Make me aware of the needs of people around me so that I might be part of your plan. Thank you for giving your humility to me so that I might love the way you intend.
Matt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Teach me, Father, to be more humble like you are to focus on you and not myself or my circumstances. Help me to always look to you. You act in humility by looking at us. Help me to do the same.
1Pet 5:5 In the same way, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
1Pet 5:6 And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand
1Pet 5:7 by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.
1Pet 5:8 Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.
1Pet 5:9 Resist him, strong in your faith, because you know that your brothers and sisters throughout the world are enduring the same kinds of suffering.
1Pet 5:10 And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
1Pet 5:11 To him belongs the power forever. Amen.
–
Day 15
-He is patient
Ps 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.
1Pet 3:20 after they were disobedient long ago when God patiently waited in the days of Noah as an ark was being constructed. In the ark a few, that is eight souls, were delivered through water.
1Pet 3:21 And this prefigured baptism, which now saves you – not the washing off of physical dirt but the pledge of a good conscience to God – through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
2Pet 3:8 Now, dear friends, do not let this one thing escape your notice, that a single day is like a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years are like a single day.
2Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
He waits for us.
Praise you, God, for your mercy. Save us all. Help me be prepared for your return by clothing myself in your righteousness.
Thank you for being patient before the deluge and for being patient now before your return and final judgment. Thank you for being personally patient with me before my baptism and before my final moment on earth.
Help me to grow in the patience which is yours that I participate in demonstrating toward the people around me. Help me to love especially when I don’t feel like it. To serve when I am hurting and to wait when I’m excited and want to move quickly. Give me your patience, Lord. I can only do this through you. You are the only way.
–
Day 16
-He is Gentle
2Cor 10:1 Now I, Paul, appeal to you personally by the meekness and gentleness of Christ (I who am meek when present among you, but am full of courage toward you when away!) –
1Tim 6:11 But you, as a person dedicated to God, keep away from all that. Instead pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness.
2Tim 2:24 And the Lord’s slave must not engage in heated disputes but be kind toward all, an apt teacher, patient,
2Tim 2:25 correcting opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance and then knowledge of the truth
2Tim 2:26 and they will come to their senses and escape the devil’s trap where they are held captive to do his will.
2Sam 22:36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
God, I know you are gentle and at times I have recognized your voice and touch by the supernatural gentleness that I felt along with the action and words. Help me to channel your peace that way. To love gently in my word and actions so that people recognize you in it.
1Pet 2:18 Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are perverse.
1Pet 2:19 For this finds God’s favor, if because of conscience toward God someone endures hardships in suffering unjustly.
1Pet 2:20 For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good and suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God.
1Pet 2:21 For to this you were called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example for you to follow in his steps.
1Pet 2:22 He committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth.
1Pet 2:23 When he was maligned, he did not answer back; when he suffered, he threatened no retaliation, but committed himself to God who judges justly.
1Pet 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we may cease from sinning and live for righteousness. By his wounds you were healed.
1Pet 2:25 For you were going astray like sheep but now you have turned back to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.
Thank you, Jesus for being gentle towards me. Give me your gentleness to extend to everyone.
–
Day 17
-He is Father
1John 3:1 (See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children – and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know him.
1John 3:2 Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is.
A good son or daughter does what his or her father asks them to do.
Matt 5:38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’
Matt 5:39 But I say to you, do not resist the evildoer. But whoever strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other to him as well.
Matt 5:40 And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, give him your coat also.
Matt 5:41 And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two.
Matt 5:42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not reject the one who wants to borrow from you.
Matt 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘hate your enemy.’
Matt 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you,
Matt 5:45 so that you may be like your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Matt 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Even the tax collectors do the same, don’t they?
Matt 5:47 And if you only greet your brothers, what more do you do? Even the Gentiles do the same, don’t they?
Matt 5:48 So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
What is remarkable about this passage besides the amazing love God infuses us with and commands us to show, is that Jesus calls God “our father.”
Matt 6:9 So pray this way: Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored,
Gal 4:1 Now I mean that the heir, as long as he is a minor, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything. Gal 4:2 But he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father.
Gal 4:3 So also we, when we were minors, were enslaved under the basic forces of the world.
Gal 4:4 But when the appropriate time had come, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, Gal 4:5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we may be adopted as sons with full rights. Gal 4:6 And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, who calls “Abba! Father!” Gal 4:7 So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are a son, then you are also an heir through God. Gal 4:8 Formerly when you did not know God, you were enslaved to beings that by nature are not gods at all.
Gal 4:9 But now that you have come to know God (or rather to be known by God), how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless basic forces? Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again?
Gal 4:10 You are observing religious days and months and seasons and years. Thank you God for the privilege of being called your son. I love being adopted and belonging to you. Give me your strength to carry out the responsibility that being your child entails.
–
Day 18
-He is not a system
God is not something to figure out and operate like a machine. Religion does this. It is rules for operating God. This is very prideful and ignorant. It is me thinking I am smarter than God. Yes, He loves me and allows me to live even though I completely disobey Him. He moves through me to breathe in His air. But He deserves better.
He waits for me to turn my heart to Him so that I can learn how to love and let Him love me through His goodness. His Spirit teaches me how to have a real relationship with Him.
With knowledge I am in danger of being misled and deceived.
With life I am privileged to be in relationship with God.
Gen 2:9 The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow from the soil, every tree that was pleasing to look at and good for food. (Now the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil were in the middle of the orchard.)
Which of the 2 trees am I going to choose? Father, help me see which tree I am choosing. Lead me toward you. You are what I want more than anything.
It is a heart choice.
Song 8:6 The Beloved to Her Lover: Set me like a cylinder seal over your heart, like a signet on your arm. For love is as strong as death, passion is as unrelenting as Sheol. Its flames burst forth, it is a blazing flame.
My heart’s desire is Jesus, God and Holy Spirit.
1Pet 3:15 But set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess.
I want unity with you, Jesus. Like lovers long to re-unite. I am overcome by your passion.
You are my desire. Like a deer that longs for water.
Ps 42:1 For the music director; a well-written song by the Korahites. As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God!
–
Day 19
-He is Holy Holy Holy
1John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope focused on him purifies himself, just as Jesus is pure).
Rev 4:8 Each one of the four living creatures had six wings and was full of eyes all around and inside. They never rest day or night, saying: “Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All-Powerful, Who was and who is, and who is still to come!”
He is Holy by the highest human standards. He then is Holy to the next level which is beyond our greatest imaginings. This might be understood by angels and supremely intelligent beings. He then is Holy again to a higher level which only He knows.
Holy and pure. He is perfect righteousness.
Praise you God and Father for you are Holy Holy Holy.
Deut 23:9 When you go out as an army against your enemies, guard yourselves against anything impure.
Ps 51:6 Look, you desire integrity in the inner man; you want me to possess wisdom.
Ps 51:7 Sprinkle me with water and I will be pure; wash me and I will be whiter than snow.
Ps 51:8 Grant me the ultimate joy of being forgiven! May the bones you crushed rejoice!
Ps 51:9 Hide your face from my sins! Wipe away all my guilt!
Ps 51:10 Create for me a pure heart, O God! Renew a resolute spirit within me!
This is the proper response to His purity. Repentance.
Matt 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Luke 18:9 Jesus also told this parable to some who were confident that they were righteous and looked down on everyone else.
Luke 18:10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed about himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people: extortionists, unrighteous people, adulterers – or even like this tax collector.
Luke 18:12 I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of everything I get.’
Luke 18:13 The tax collector, however, stood far off and would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, be merciful to me, sinner that I am!’
Luke 18:14 I tell you that this man went down to his home justified rather than the Pharisee. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
–
Day 20
– He is wise
2Pet 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.
Father, you know better. Give me strength to obey especially when it makes no sense to me. Your wisdom is above human understanding.
Prov 1:7 Fearing the LORD is the beginning of moral knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Prov 1:29 Because they hated moral knowledge, and did not choose to fear the LORD,
Prov 1:30 they did not comply with my advice, they spurned all my rebuke.
God knows everything except our sins. He knows there was a solar flare 2 billion years ago on a star 10 billion light years from us. And He knows me.
Remember me, Father, know me. Help me know you more and more.
My society values accumulating knowledge. I do not think this is the wisdom that He offers us. I think he offers the kind that makes the weak strong and the Highly intelligent stupid.
Mark 4:33 So with many parables like these, he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear.
Jas 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct he should show his works done in the gentleness that wisdom brings.
Jas 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, do not boast and tell lies against the truth. Jas 3:15 Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic. Jas 3:16 For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is disorder and every evil practice. Jas 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.
Jas 3:18 And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.
Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
I can be conformed to His way of thinking. God’s wisdom and insight is not like mine or the world’s or many of my misconceptions.
Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace Eph 1:8 that he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.
His wisdom and insight made Him think of giving us redemption through his blood and the forgiveness for our sins according to the riches of His grace. He acts like a Wise and loving Father, not like an earthly person. His wisdom beckons us to become more one with Him every day.
–
Day 21
-God is the light
Matt 4:16 the people who sit in darkness have seen a great light, and on those who sit in the region and shadow of death a light has dawned.”
Matt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach this message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.
John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke out again, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
2Cor 4:6 For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.
2Cor 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us.
Jesus, expose me to the Father. I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Let your light shine through me.
Eph 5:6 Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience. Eph 5:7 Therefore do not be partakers with them,
Eph 5:8 for you were at one time darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light –
Eph 5:9 for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth –
Eph 5:10 trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
Eph 5:11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Eph 5:12 For the things they do in secret are shameful even to mention.
Eph 5:13 But all things being exposed by the light are made evident.
Eph 5:14 For everything made evident is light, and for this reason it says: “Awake, O sleeper! Rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you!”
Isa 60:19 The sun will no longer supply light for you by day, nor will the moon’s brightness shine on you; the LORD will be your permanent source of light – the splendor of your God will shine upon you.
Rom 13:12 The night has advanced toward dawn; the day is near. So then we must lay aside the works of darkness, and put on the weapons of light.
Rom 13:13 Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.
Rom 13:14 Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires.
I put on Jesus Christ. He is my stronghold, the light of my salvation.
–
Day 22
-God is Almighty
2Cor 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Rev 21:22 Now I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God – the All-Powerful – and the Lamb are its temple.
Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Exod 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
God almighty. {El shadday}
Acts 17:25 nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone.
Praise You, Father, You are all powerful. You have the ability to do anything in heaven and in earth. You are All mighty. You are the strongest.
You are to be feared and revered.
Thank you for breath and life.
Keep me safe in your arms.
Ps 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Help me live under your shadow. I want to spend time with you.
1Thess 1:5 in that our gospel did not come to you merely in words, but in power and in the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction (surely you recall the character we displayed when we came among you to help you).
–
Day 23
-God is Living and the Everlasting King
1Thess 1:9 For people everywhere report how you welcomed us and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God
Jer 10:10 The LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King. When he shows his anger the earth shakes. None of the nations can stand up to his fury.
Jer 10:11 You people of Israel should tell those nations this: ‘These gods did not make heaven and earth. They will disappear from the earth and from under the heavens.’
It seems obvious that God is living. But to admit that He is alive in my heart and believe it with my whole being is good. To go against the world’s push that God is dead and to be thankful that He is alive is good.
He is ever living. He was not born and will not end but He is alive now.
He is alive and active and is the everlasting king. Remember when they chose Saul as king and God warned them that human kings would not benefit them?
1Sam 8:7 The LORD said to Samuel, “Do everything the people request of you. For it is not you that they have rejected, but it is me that they have rejected as their king.
God is the king that our hearts long for.
He is the true King. He reigns in reality.
Ps 145:1 A psalm of praise, by David. I will extol you, my God, O king! I will praise your name continually!
A king is someone to bow down to. Someone to trust and obey. Someone to kneel to and respect. Think about the ruler of your country. You would treat them with respect and dignity knowing they have power over you.
God has the power to give life and take it away. He has everything we need.
You are great most high God. I bow down before you as is correct. You are the only King who deserves worship. You are pure and Holy and you love me as a daddy.
What a mystery this is that He can be so far above and beyond me and yet still intimately know me. Thank you for being my loving king and Father.
Jas 2:5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him?
This is a heavenly Kingdom.
Luke 22:25 So Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’
Luke 22:26 Not so with you; instead the one who is greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the one who serves.
Luke 22:27 For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table, or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is seated at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. Luke 22:28 “You are the ones who have remained with me in my trials.
Luke 13:18 Thus Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what should I compare it?
Luke 13:19 It is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the wild birds nested in its branches.”
Luke 13:20 Again he said, “To what should I compare the kingdom of God?
Luke 13:21 It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until all the dough had risen.”
You are king of my heart and life, Father.
Give me your grace to always turn to you and listen to be guided by your Holy Spirit so that you rule my every move. I want to serve you and only you.
Luke 8:10 He said, “You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that although they see they may not see, and although they hear they may not understand.
Luke 8:1 Some time afterward he went on through towns and villages, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The twelve were with him,
Luke 6:20 Then he looked up at his disciples and said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God belongs to you.
Hunger and thirst for Him. He is the satisfaction of all our needs. It is good to long for Christ our King. He is above but not removed from us. He is the well spring of goodness and life.
John 12:13 So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him. They began to shout, “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!”
John 12:14 Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written,
John 12:15 “Do not be afraid, people of Zion; look, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt!”
John 12:16 (His disciples did not understand these things when they first happened, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him and that these things had happened to him.)
Hosanna = Oh Save.
Save us King Jesus.
–
Day 24
-God is beautiful
Ps 96:6 Majestic splendor emanates from him; his sanctuary is firmly established and beautiful.
I can not appreciate God in the way that I can wrap my mind around the greatness that He is. And yet I am thankful to Him.
I can not comprehend His greatness and yet I am getting to know Him.
Many women in the old testament are refered to as beautiful and there is a feminine aspect to beauty which God does possess but He is the groom and His whole church is His bride. I appreciate His beauty like a bride appreciates her groom’s beauty.
It is a beckoning beauty like the sunrise. I want to see more of you Father. I only see a glimpse and glimmer of what is the surpassing beauty of you and your kingdom. Help me to grow in appreciation of you.
Song 1:15 The Lover to His Beloved: Oh, how beautiful you are, my beloved! Oh, how beautiful you are! Your eyes are like doves!
God is saying that we are beautiful to Him. Wow
Song 1:12 The Beloved about Her Lover: While the king was at his banqueting table, my nard gave forth its fragrance.
He smells good. God is attractive to all our senses and I appreciate, apprehend Him through spiritual eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin.
It is a mystery that we could gain intimacy with Him. He knows me. And He allows me to grow in knowledge of Him.
If I see the smallest trifle of God’s beauty I am instantly drawn in love toward Him. I love Him as Father but also as Husband and I need Him like air.
–
Day 25
-He is teacher
John 20:16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni” (which means Teacher).
He taught the stars how to shine and He will teach me how to shine.
John 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you too ought to wash one
another’s feet.
Luke 18:18 Now a certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
Luke 18:19 Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
Thank you, Father, for being good and for teaching me. Help me learn what you want me to learn. Help me be a willing and good student.
2Tim 3:14 You, however, must continue in the things you have learned and are confident about. You know who taught you
2Tim 3:15 and how from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
2Tim 3:16 Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
2Tim 3:17 that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.
Thank you for the Bible. I need you.
A good student digests, slows down, and has a willing heart.
Ps 148:3 Praise him, O sun and moon! Praise him, all you shiny stars!
Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
I need you to teach me God, more than the food I need today. Thank you for being reliable and trustworthy. I know you will do it. I am with you and I know you are with me. Help me bend to your will. I am the one who can learn and grow and change. You are unchangeable, helpful and reliable. I love you.
Heb 10:19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,
back to top
–
Day 26
-He is a transformer
He does not change but He can change our hearts. This is His specialty. To soften our hearts.
Jas 1:17 All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change.
Ezek 11:18 “When they return to it, they will remove from it all its detestable things and all its abominations.
Ezek 11:19 I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; I will remove the hearts of stone from their bodies and I will give them tender hearts,
Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.
2Pet 1:1 From Simeon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, have been granted a faith just as precious as ours.
2Pet 1:2 May grace and peace be lavished on you as you grow in the rich knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord!
2Pet 1:3 I can pray this because his divine power has bestowed on us everything necessary for life and godliness through the rich knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and excellence.
2Pet 1:4 Through these things he has bestowed on us his precious and most magnificent promises, so that by means of what was promised you may become partakers of the divine nature, after escaping the worldly corruption that is produced by evil desire.
2Pet 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge;
2Pet 1:6 to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness;
2Pet 1:7 to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish love.
2Pet 1:8 For if these things are really yours and are continually increasing, they will keep you from becoming ineffective and unproductive in your pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ more intimately.
2Pet 1:9 But concerning the one who lacks such things – he is blind. That is to say, he is nearsighted, since he has forgotten about the cleansing of his past sins.
2Pet 1:10 Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to be sure of your calling and election. For by doing this you will never stumble into sin.
2Pet 1:11 For thus an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be richly provided for you.
Father, help me partake with you in this transformative work that flows from your heart through mine to those around me. Make me a better instrument of your peace.
–
Day 27
-He is friend
2Pet 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
John 15:1 “I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener.
John 15:2 He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit.
John 15:3 You are clean already because of the word that I have spoken to you.
John 15:4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me.
John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing.
John 15:6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up.
John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you.
John 15:8 My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are my disciples.
John 15:9 “Just as the Father has loved me, I have also loved you; remain in my love.
John 15:10 If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
John 15:11 I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.
John 15:12 My commandment is this – to love one another just as I have loved you.
John 15:13 No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life for his friends.
John 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.
John 15:15 I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from my Father.
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.
John 15:17 This I command you – to love one another.
Thank you God, for being my friend. The one who I love. Thank you for showing me how close you desire to be with me. Thank you for laying your life down. Give me your grace to do the same. I love you with all I am. I am willing to lay my life down for you. I love you more than myself and my selfish ways.
I value our friendship. You mean more to me than all this world and all the improper ways of thinking that have been transfered to me. I want you God. Renew and transform me into the friend that you have created me to be.
–
Day 28
-He is a jealous God
Deut 13:1 Suppose a prophet or one who foretells by dreams should appear among you and show you a sign or wonder,
Deut 13:2 and the sign or wonder should come to pass concerning what he said to you, namely, “Let us follow other gods” – gods whom you have not previously known – “and let us serve them.”
Deut 13:3 You must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer, for the LORD your God will be testing you to see if you love him with all your mind and being.
Deut 13:4 You must follow the LORD your God and revere only him; and you must observe his commandments, obey him, serve him, and remain loyal to him.
Deut 13:5 As for that prophet or dreamer, he must be executed because he encouraged rebellion against the LORD your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, redeeming you from that place of slavery, and because he has tried to entice you from the way the LORD your God has commanded you to go. In this way you must purge out evil from within.
Deut 13:6 Suppose your own full brother, your son, your daughter, your beloved wife, or your closest friend should seduce you secretly and encourage you to go and serve other gods that neither you nor your ancestors have previously known,
Deut 13:7 the gods of the surrounding people (whether near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other).
Deut 13:8 You must not give in to him or even listen to him; do not feel sympathy for him or spare him or cover up for him.
Deut 13:9 Instead, you must kill him without fail! Your own hand must be the first to strike him, and then the hands of the whole community.
Deut 13:10 You must stone him to death because he tried to entice you away from the LORD your God, who delivered you from the land of Egypt, that place of slavery.
Deut 13:11 Thus all Israel will hear and be afraid; no longer will they continue to do evil like this among you.
Deut 13:12 Suppose you should hear in one of your cities, which the LORD your God is giving you as a place to live, that
Deut 13:13 some evil people have departed from among you to entice the inhabitants of their cities, saying, “Let’s go and serve other gods” (whom you have not known before).
Deut 13:14 You must investigate thoroughly and inquire carefully. If it is indeed true that such a disgraceful thing is being done among you,
Deut 13:15 you must by all means slaughter the inhabitants of that city with the sword; annihilate with the sword everyone in it, as well as the livestock.
Deut 13:16 You must gather all of its plunder into the middle of the plaza and burn the city and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It will be an abandoned ruin forever – it must never be rebuilt again.
Deut 13:17 You must not take for yourself anything that has been placed under judgment. Then the LORD will relent from his intense anger, show you compassion, have mercy on you, and multiply you as he promised your ancestors.
Deut 13:18 Thus you must obey the LORD your God, keeping all his commandments that I am giving you today and doing what is right before him.
I don’t think I am supposed to stone or kill people. Like Jesus said it used to be an eye for an eye but now He wants us to love our enemies. This always was His will.
Father, forgive me for serving false gods. I see how hideous this is to you. Give me strength to turn away
–
Day 29
-God is generous
Luke 11:13 If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
Matt 20:15 Am I not permitted to do what I want with what belongs to me? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
Matt 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
1Tim 6:17 Command those who are rich in this world’s goods not to be haughty or to set their hope on riches, which are uncertain, but on God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment.
1Tim 6:18 Tell them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, to be generous givers, sharing with others.
1Tim 6:19 In this way they will save up a treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the future and so lay hold of what is truly life.
Thank you Father for richly providing me with all things for my enjoyment. Help me to share with others. Send your Holy Spirit on me and my family today.
Jas 1:5 But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.
Give me wisdom, Jesus.
Praise you, God for your generosity. You gave us your only son. You laid down your life.
Jas 1:17 All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change.
I believe you are giving and working right now for my good. You know better what I need. enlighten my understanding so that I can work with you better to conform myself to your supreme will and plan for my life which is really your life.
Rom 12:1 Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice – alive, holy, and pleasing to God – which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.
Rom 12:3 For by the grace given to me I say to every one of you not to think more highly of yourself than you ought to think, but to think with sober discernment, as God has distributed to each of you a measure of faith.
–
Day 30
-He is victorious
Rom 8:35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, “For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
Rom 8:37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!
Thank you God for sharing the victory. Thank you for your righteousness. Thank you for keeping me close to you. I turn to you.
1Cor 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
1Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
1Cor 15:58 So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Heb 2:18 For since he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
Thank you for making your victory complete.
Rom 6:10 For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God.
Rom 6:11 So you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Rom 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires,
Rom 6:13 and do not present your members to sin as instruments to be used for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead and your members to God as instruments to be used for righteousness.
Rom 6:14 For sin will have no mastery over you, because you are not under law but under grace.
Rom 6:22 But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.
Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law, with the result that there is righteousness for everyone who believes.
Increase my belief, Jesus. I know in my brain but let it sink deeper down into my being into my heart where you meet me where you live.
If I really believed I would be more on fire more in love with you more in victory with you. thank you God, I know you can do it and will do it. Thank you.
–
Day 31
-Jesus is our rest
Ps 3:3 But you, LORD, are a shield that protects me; you are my glory and the one who restores me.
Ps 3:4 To the LORD I cried out, and he answered me from his holy hill. (Selah)
Ps 3:5 I rested and slept;I awoke, for the LORD protects me.
Ps 80:7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Ps 80:7 O God, invincible warrior, restore us! Smile on us! Then we will be delivered!
When I am tired, Father, help me repent.
Matt 11:20 Then Jesus began to criticize openly the cities in which he had done many of his miracles, because they did not repent. Matt 11:21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Matt 11:25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Matt 11:26 Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will. Matt 11:27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him. Matt 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matt 11:29 Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matt 11:30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.”
I am not smart God, you are. You are right and I am wrong. I am weak you are strong.
Matt 16:23 But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”
Matt 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.
I am sorry God. Set my interests on you and what is the best way, your way.
Heb 4:9-16 Consequently a Sabbath rest remains for the people of God. For the one who enters God’s rest has also rested from his works, just as God did from his own works.
Thus we must make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by following the same pattern of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart. And no creature is hidden from God, but everything is naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must render an account.
Heb 4:14 Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Heb 4:16 Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.
Jesus, you are my rest. the way to restore peace to my soul in reconciling me to the Father.
God, help me let go of my interests my ways and my work. It is all about you. I want your ways your interests and your work to be my first concern.
–
Day 32
-He is present everywhere all the time
Deut 7:20 Furthermore, the LORD your God will release hornets among them until the very last ones who hide from you perish.
Deut 7:21 You must not tremble in their presence, for the LORD your God, who is present among you, is a great and awesome God.
Jer 23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?
Jer 23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
Jer 23:24 “Do you really think anyone can hide himself where I cannot see him?” the LORD asks. “Do you not know that I am everywhere?” the LORD asks.
Ps 139:5 You squeeze me in from behind and in front; you place your hand on me.
Ps 139:6 Your knowledge is beyond my comprehension; it is so far beyond me, I am unable to fathom it.
Ps 139:7 Where can I go to escape your spirit? Where can I flee to escape your presence?
Matt 28:20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Help me see you and know you are near. Remind me to pray.
Mark 6:46 After saying good-bye to them, he went to the mountain to pray.
Thank you God for being everywhere all the time. This is discomforting when I am doing wrong, forgive me please. And it is a tremendous comfort when I am seeking you. You are here. All I need to do is believe and turn my attention and gaze toward you who are always present everywhere.
Ps 73:28 But as for me, God’s presence is all I need. I have made the sovereign LORD my shelter, as I declare all the things you have done.
Ps 73:28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
–
Day 33
-He loves us even though we don’t deserve
Rom 5:5 And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath.
Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?
Rom 5:11 Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.
This is not to say that I am bad in any way, although my turning away and sining and thinking I am smart and not giving Him credit need to be repented for. But I am not condemned.
It is that I really am wretched compared to the full pure great good that He is.
Praise you Jesus. Praise you Father, Praise you Holy Spirit. You are Holy Holy Holy.
Thank you for loving me wretch that I am.
The completely amazing thing is that He does love me. Even though I don’t deserve it. His really is unconditional love. Yes He guides and molds and helps grow, all the while accepting and loving.
Rom 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,
Rom 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Help me be convinced, Father.
Rom 9:20 But who indeed are you – a mere human being – to talk back to God? Does what is molded say to the molder, “Why have you made me like this?”
Help me be truly humble not by looking at my own wretchedness but by seeing Your highness.
1Cor 8:2 If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know. 1Cor 8:3 But if someone loves God, he is known by God.
Know me God. Remember me, Jesus. Comfort me, Holy Spirit.
–
Day 34
-He is secure
God provides security for me. He is the rock of my salvation my fortress and i trust Him.
He is the foundation unmoveable and everlasting.
Isa 33:6 He is your constant source of stability; he abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; he gives all this to those who fear him.
Rom 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.”
1John 5:4 because everyone who has been fathered by God conquers the world. This is the conquering power that has conquered the world: our faith.
Rom 8:37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Job 11:13 “As for you, if you prove faithful, and if you stretch out your hands toward him,
Job 11:14 if iniquity is in your hand – put it far away, and do not let evil reside in your tents.
Job 11:15 For then you will lift up your face without blemish; you will be securely established and will not fear.
Deut 33:12 Of Benjamin he said: The beloved of the LORD will live safely by him; he protects him all the time, and the LORD places him on his chest.
Ps 61:3 Indeed, you are my shelter, a strong tower that protects me from the enemy.
Ps 61:4 I will be a permanent guest in your home; I will find shelter in the protection of your wings. (Selah)
Isa 45:2 “I will go before you and level mountains. Bronze doors I will shatter and iron bars I will hack through.
Isa 45:3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stashed away in secret places, so you may recognize that I am the LORD, the one who calls you by name, the God of Israel.
Isa 45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
2Pet 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge;
2Pet 1:6 to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness;
2Cor 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me.
2Cor 12:10 Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
Heb 10:35 So do not throw away your confidence, because it has great reward.
Heb 10:36 For you need endurance in order to do God’s will and so receive what is promised.
Heb 10:37 For just a little longer and he who is coming will arrive and not delay.
Heb 10:38 But my righteous one will live by faith, and if he shrinks back, I take no pleasure in him.
Heb 10:39 But we are not among those who shrink back and thus perish, but are among those who have faith and preserve their souls.
Jer 24:6 I will look after their welfare and will restore them to this land. There I will build them up and will not tear them down. I will plant them firmly in the land and will not uproot them.
Jer 24:7 I will give them the desire to acknowledge that I am the LORD. I will be their God and they will be my people. For they will wholeheartedly return to me.’
Jer 29:11 For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.
Jer 29:12 When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers.
Jer 29:13 When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul,
Rom 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.
Rom 8:27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the saints according to God’s will.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,
Rom 9:16 So then, it does not depend on human desire or exertion, but on God who shows mercy.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.
2Cor 4:16 Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day.
2Cor 4:17 For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison
2Cor 4:18 because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
Rom 4:18 Against hope Abraham believed in hope with the result that he became the father of many nations according to the pronouncement, “so will your descendants be.”
Rom 4:19 Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead (because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
Rom 4:20 He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.
Rom 4:21 He was fully convinced that what God promised he was also able to do.
Rom 5:1 Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom 5:2 through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.
Rom 5:3 Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, Rom 5:4 and endurance, character, and character, hope.
Rom 5:5 And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Rom 5:6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Rom 5:7 (For rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person perhaps someone might possibly dare to die.) Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath.
Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?
Isa 54:10 Even if the mountains are removed and the hills displaced, my devotion will not be removed from you, nor will my covenant of friendship be displaced,” says the LORD, the one who has compassion on you.
Isa 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
–
Day 35
-God is spontaneous
Luke 10:21 On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.
Thank you father for being spontaneous, free, humorous and joyful.
1Tim 6:17 Command those who are rich in this world’s goods not to be haughty or to set their hope on riches, which are uncertain, but on God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment.
Col 1:10 so that you may live worthily of the Lord and please him in all respects – bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God,
Col 1:11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully
Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.
Col 1:13 He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves,
Col 1:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Neh 8:10 He said to them, “Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Your joy is my strength!
Ps 100:1 A thanksgiving psalm. Shout out praises to the LORD, all the earth!
Ps 100:2 Worship the LORD with joy! Enter his presence with joyful singing!
Ps 100:3 Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Ps 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give him thanks! Praise his name!
Ps 100:5 For the LORD is good. His loyal love endures, and he is faithful through all generations.
Isa 12:3 Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance.
Isa 12:4 At that time you will say: “Praise the LORD! Ask him for help! Publicize his mighty acts among the nations! Make it known that he is unique!
Isa 12:5 Sing to the LORD, for he has done magnificent things, let this be known throughout the earth!
God, you are joyful. Thank you for opening my eyes and heart to the joy that is in you. Thank you for your fullness and the purity of your joy.
–
Day 36
-God is sincere
He is pure and true. He reveals the truth to us about ourselves.
Ps 145:18 The LORD is near all who cry out to him, all who cry out to him sincerely.
Ps 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
It is good to forgive everyone who has wronged you or who you hold a grudge against. I often think that I have forgiven everyone and everything that has happened to me, but
Sincerely, I have not. Father, bring to mind and reveal to me the hurts I hold on to so that I may sincerely forgive and realease them to you.
1Tim 1:5 But the aim of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.
2Cor 11:3 But I am afraid that just as the serpent deceived Eve by his treachery, your minds may be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
2Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Help me have pure devotion and simplicity in You.
Heb 10:19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 by the fresh and living way that he inaugurated for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,
Heb 10:21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
Heb 10:22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.
Heb 10:23 And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
1Pet 1:21 Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
1Pet 1:22 You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.
1Pet 1:23 You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
1Cor 3:16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
Help me be honest with You God. Reveal to me what I am decieved about.
Ps 15:1 A psalm of David. LORD, who may be a guest in your home? Who may live on your holy hill?
Ps 15:2 Whoever lives a blameless life, does what is right, and speaks honestly.
Prov 24:26 Like a kiss on the lips is the one who gives an honest answer.
Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Luke 8:15 But as for the seed that landed on good soil, these are the ones who, after hearing the word, cling to it with an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with steadfast endurance.
Titus 1:10 For there are many rebellious people, idle talkers, and deceivers, especially those with Jewish connections,
Titus 1:11 who must be silenced because they mislead whole families by teaching for dishonest gain what ought not to be taught.
Titus 1:12 A certain one of them, in fact, one of their own prophets, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.”
Titus 1:13 Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith
Titus 1:14 and not pay attention to Jewish myths and commands of people who reject the truth.
Titus 1:15 All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
Titus 1:16 They profess to know God but with their deeds they deny him, since they are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.
1Tim 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people,
1Tim 2:2 even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
1Tim 2:3 Such prayer for all is good and welcomed before God our Savior,
1Tim 2:4 since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
1Tim 2:5 For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human,
1Tim 2:6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time.
1Tim 2:7 For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle – I am telling the truth; I am not lying – and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
1Tim 2:8 So I want the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute.
Titus 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Give me your grace, Father, to be completely honest with you in our time together. You know me better than I know myself. Give me courage to face the impurity within me and the faith to know you deal with everything lovingly and completely.
–
Day 37
-He walks with me
God walked with Adam and Eve in the garden.
Gen 6:9 This is the account of Noah. Noah was a godly man; he was blameless among his contemporaries. He walked with God.
God, help me become blameless so that I can walk with you.
Luke 24:15 While they were talking and debating these things, Jesus himself approached and began to accompany them (on the way to Emmaus)
John 6:19 Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, they caught sight of Jesus walking on the lake, approaching the boat, and they were frightened.
Rom 8:4 so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,
Rom 8:7 because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so.
2Cor 6:16 And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
2Cor 6:17 Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing, and I will welcome you,
2Cor 6:18 and I will be a father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,” says the All-Powerful Lord.
Eph 5:8 for you were at one time darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light –
1John 2:5 But whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in him.
1John 2:6 The one who says he resides in God ought himself to walk just as Jesus walked.
I want to walk with you Jesus and I want to walk just like you walked.
Thank you for walking with me.
–
Day 38
-God is to be feared
Prov 14:2 The one who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD, but the one who is perverted in his ways despises him.
1Pet 2:17 Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.
Prov 9:10 The beginning of wisdom is to fear the LORD, and acknowledging the Holy One is understanding.
Ps 33:8 Let the whole earth fear the LORD! Let all who live in the world stand in awe of him!
Ps 33:9 For he spoke, and it came into existence, he issued the decree, and it stood firm.
Acts 9:31 Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced peace and thus was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, the church increased in numbers.
Matt 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Father, help me always keep turning my attention to you in respect and awe. You are greatly to be feared. Help me increase in the fear of you.
Jer 5:21 Tell them: ‘Hear this, you foolish people who have no understanding, who have eyes but do not discern, who have ears but do not perceive:
Jer 5:22 “You should fear me!” says the LORD. “You should tremble in awe before me! I made the sand to be a boundary for the sea, a permanent barrier that it can never cross. Its waves may roll, but they can never prevail. They may roar, but they can never cross beyond that boundary.”
Ps 119:120 My body trembles because I fear you; I am afraid of your judgments.
Isa 66:1 This is what the LORD says: “The heavens are my throne and the earth is my footstool. Where then is the house you will build for me? Where is the place where I will rest?
Isa 66:2 My hand made them; that is how they came to be,” says the LORD. I show special favor to the humble and contrite, who respect what I have to say.
Isa 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
–
Day 39
-God is reconciling
The biggest demonstration of His forgiveness is sending His son while we were still sinners to forgive our sins.
Rom 5:11 Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.
Luke 18:13 The tax collector, however, stood far off and would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, be merciful to me, sinner that I am!’
1Tim 1:15 This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” – and I am the worst of them!
Ps 2:11 Serve the LORD in fear! Repent in terror!
Ps 4:4 Tremble with fear and do not sin! Meditate as you lie in bed, and repent of your ways! (Selah)
Matt 3:2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
Matt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach this message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
Matt 11:21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
Matt 12:41 The people of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented when Jonah preached to them – and now, something greater than Jonah is here!
Luke 13:5 No, I tell you! But unless you repent you will all perish as well!”
Luke 15:7 I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need to repent.
2Cor 7:10 For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.
2Cor 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that could defile the body and the spirit, and thus accomplish holiness out of reverence for God.
Jesus, reconcile me to God our Father.
–
Day 40
-He reveals Himself through Jesus
God makes himself known through Jesus
John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing.
He creates much fruit
Matt 11:27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.
I believe He has chosen me.
Luke 10:22 All things have been given to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.”
2Cor 4:6 For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.
John 1:16 For we have all received from his fullness one gracious gift after another.
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.
John 1:18 No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.
1John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life.
Jesus has revealed and continues to allow us to know God intimately and to be in His presence,
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV
Seek Him
Matthew 11:27 (MSG) Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly. “The Father has given me all these things to do and say. This is a unique Father-Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge. No one knows the Son the way the Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does. But I’m not keeping it to myself; I’m ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen.
It is such a blessing that He Chooses when where and who to reveal Himself to. A little secret is that He will reveal to everyone all the time in all places.
Thank You Jesus for being the one who chooses. Not my will by yours be done.
–
Day 41
-Our Father is perfect
Matt 5:48 So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
I cant be perfect. That is why I need God.
1John 3:3 & 6 And everyone who has this hope focused on him purifies himself, just as Jesus is pure).
Everyone who resides in him does not sin; everyone who sins has neither seen him nor known him.
Deut 32:3 For I will proclaim the name of the LORD; you must acknowledge the greatness of our God.
Deut 32:4 As for the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. He is a reliable God who is never unjust, he is fair and upright.
Job 11:7 “Can you discover the essence of God? Can you find out the perfection of the Almighty?
Job 11:8 It is higher than the heavens – what can you do? It is deeper than Sheol – what can you know?
Job 37:16 Do you know about the balancing of the clouds, that wondrous activity of him who is perfect in knowledge?
Heb 9:22 Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Ps 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. 2Sam 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 2Sam 22:32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
1John 1:5 Now this is the gospel message we have heard from him and announce to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. 1John 1:6 If we say we have fellowship with him and yet keep on walking in the darkness, we are lying and not practicing the truth.
1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
1Pet 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1Pet 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pet 1:4 that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you, 1Pet 1:5 who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
1Pet 1:18 &-19 You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed – not by perishable things like silver or gold, but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.
–
Day 42
-Our Father fellowships with us
1Cor 3:6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.
1Cor 3:7 So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth. 1Cor 3:8 The one who plants and the one who waters work as one, but each will receive his reward according to his work. 1Cor 3:9 We are coworkers belonging to God. You are God’s field, God’s building. 1Cor 3:10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master-builder I laid a foundation, but someone else builds on it. And each one must be careful how he builds.
1Cor 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.
3John 1:8 Therefore we ought to support such people, so that we become coworkers in cooperation with the truth.
Mark 16:20 They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.
Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Acts 17:24 The God who made the world and everything in it, who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by human hands, Acts 17:25 nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone.
Acts 17:26 From one man he made every nation of the human race to inhabit the entire earth, determining their set times and the fixed limits of the places where they would live,
Acts 17:27 so that they would search for God and perhaps grope around for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. Acts 17:28 For in him we live and move about and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’ Acts 17:29 So since we are God’s offspring, we should not think the deity is like gold or silver or stone, an image made by human skill and imagination.
John 13:8 Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet!” Jesus replied, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.”
I want a share with You Jesus.
Eph 5:21 and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Eph 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
1John 1:3 What we have seen and heard we announce to you too, so that you may have fellowship with us (and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ).
–
Day 43
-Our Father is for us
Rom 8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Ps 46:1 For the music director; by the Korahites; according to the alamoth style; a song. God is our strong refuge; he is truly our helper in times of trouble.
Ps 46:10 He says, “Stop your striving and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”
Ps 46:11 The LORD who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector! (Selah)
Ps 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Zech 2:13 Be silent in the LORD’s presence, all people everywhere, for he is being moved to action in his holy dwelling place.
His kind of love (This is a spirit thought)
He is worthy to be thanked
Jer 29:11 For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.
Jer 29:12 When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers.
Jer 29:13 When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul,
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
What bigger proof do you need?
I gave you my son. You must realize that I love you by this act.
1John 4:10 In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Help me live through You
1John 4:9 By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent his one and only Son into the world so that we may live through him.
1John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
9 This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through him. (ncv)
1John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God in us, because His Son–the only begotten–hath God sent to the world, that we may live through him;
–
Day 44
-Our Father is in Charge
Matt 11:27 `All things were delivered to me by my Father, and none doth know the Son, except the Father, nor doth any know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son may wish to reveal Him .
It is His choice.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,
Col 1:16 for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through him and for him.
Ps 145:13 Your kingdom is an eternal kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.
Job 25:2 “Dominion and awesome might belong to God; he establishes peace in his heights.
1Chr 29:11 O LORD, you are great, mighty, majestic, magnificent, glorious, and sovereign over all the sky and earth! You have dominion and exalt yourself as the ruler of all.
Ps 135:5 Yes, I know the LORD is great, and our Lord is superior to all gods.
Ps 135:6 He does whatever he pleases in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all the ocean depths.
Ps 29:10 The LORD sits enthroned over the engulfing waters, the LORD sits enthroned as the eternal king.
Isa 46:8 Remember this, so you can be brave! Think about it, you rebels!
Isa 46:9 Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like me,
Isa 46:10 who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says, ‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’
Isa 46:11 who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out my plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out.
–
Day 45
-Our Father is our deliverer
by listening God will deliver me
Isa 46:9 Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like me, Isa 46:12 Listen to me, you stubborn people, you who distance yourself from doing what is right. Isa 46:13 I am bringing my deliverance near, it is not far away; I am bringing my salvation near, it does not wait. I will save Zion; I will adorn Israel with my splendor.”
Ps 18:2 The LORD is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge.
Ps 18:3 I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I was delivered from my enemies.
Ps 33:20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
Ps 38:22 Hurry and help me, O Lord, my deliverer! [Deliverer, Help, Salvation]
Ps 40:16 May all those who seek you be happy and rejoice in you! May those who love to experience your deliverance say continually, “May the LORD be praised!” Ps 40:17 I am oppressed and needy! May the Lord pay attention to me! You are my helper and my deliverer! O my God, do not delay!
Praise you, Father. Give me endurance in seeking you. I know you are the pearl of great price. I want to find out more about you. I want to be with you. I know you are with me. Deliver me from deception. Renew and transform my heart and mind and soul to love you truly.
Deut 6:4 Listen, Israel: The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! Deut 6:5 You must love the LORD your God with your whole mind, your whole being, and all your strength. [Again, I must listen.]
1Thess 1:9 For people everywhere report how you welcomed us and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God 1Thess 1:10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath. [With confidence and assurance the gospel comes to us, Our soil good.]
2Cor 1:9 Indeed we felt as if the sentence of death had been passed against us, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead. 2Cor 1:10 He delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him that he will deliver us yet again,
2Cor 1:11 as you also join in helping us by prayer, so that many people may give thanks to God on our behalf for the gracious gift given to us through the help of many.
2Cor 5:14 For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died. 2Cor 5:18 And all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
2Cor 5:20 Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His plea through us. We plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God!”
–
Day 46
-Our Father is valuable and just
See whole chapter of Matthew 13
Matt 13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure, hidden in a field, that a person found and hid. Then because of joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.
Seek Him and do not sin
Matt 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
Matt 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Matt 13:45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls.
Matt 13:46 When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.
Matt 13:47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea that caught all kinds of fish.
Matt 13:48 When it was full, they pulled it ashore, sat down, and put the good fish into containers and threw the bad away.
Matt 13:49 It will be this way at the end of the age. Angels will come and separate the evil from the righteous
Matt 13:50 and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matt 13:51 “Have you understood all these things?” They replied, “Yes.”
Matt 13:52 Then he said to them, “Therefore every expert in the law who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.”
Be thou my vision. Be thou my treasure. You are our treasure, Father.
Matt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Isa 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
–
Day 47
-Our Father is the fruit producer
Fruit producer
Mark 4:20 But these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.”
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
1Cor 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up.
1Cor 13:5 It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful.
1Cor 13:6 It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth.
1Cor 13:7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1Cor 13:8 Love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside.
1Cor 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part,
1Cor 13:10 but when what is perfect comes, the partial will be set aside.
1Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. But when I became an adult, I set aside childish ways.
1Cor 13:12 For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.
1Cor 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1Cor 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Father allow me to not think any evil. Though when I do to repent quickly.
1Cor 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Cor 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Love never ends…
Praise you daddy God.
–
Day 48
-Our Father is our hope
He will be with us. Or rather we will be with Him. He will come through for us. He does every day. Hope does not disappoint. Its like feeling warm now because I know it will be a warm day even though it starts off cold.
Ps 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Ps 16:11 You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.
Rom 15:4 For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope.
Father, I am filled with your hope. Thank you for endurance. Thank you for character and thank you greatly for hope. I know you will have your way which is all good.
Gal 5:5 For through the Spirit, by faith, we wait expectantly for the hope of righteousness.
Help me do better each day by relying on you and knowing you are producing greater righteousness in me.
Eph 1:17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,
Eph 1:18 – since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened – so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
Eph 1:19 and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.
I have hope for eternal life in heaven. I have hope that you will complete your kingdom on earth. I also have hope that your kingdom will grow on the earth today and that Your treasures will grow in me today.
Praise you, God for the warmth of your hope. Praise you for the dawn and light overcoming the dark of the night. I know you win in the end that You are winning and you will win.
Col 1:5 Your faith and love have arisen from the hope laid up for you in heaven, which you have heard about in the message of truth, the gospel
–
Day 49
-Our Father is righteous
His righteousness calls me to repentance. I believe you will turn my heart to you. I know you are big enough and able and willing to work in me.
Ps 5:8 LORD, lead me in your righteousness because of those who wait to ambush me, remove the obstacles in the way in which you are guiding me!
Ps 7:8 The LORD judges the nations. Vindicate me, LORD, because I am innocent, because I am blameless, O Exalted One! Ps 7:9 May the evil deeds of the wicked come to an end! But make the innocent secure, O righteous God, you who examine inner thoughts and motives!
Ps 7:10 The Exalted God is my shield, the one who delivers the morally upright.
Ps 7:11 God is a just judge; he is angry throughout the day.
Ps 7:12 If a person does not repent, God sharpens his sword and prepares to shoot his bow.
Dan 9:7 “You are righteous, O Lord, but we are humiliated this day – the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far away in all the countries in which you have scattered them, because they have behaved unfaithfully toward you.
Dan 9:13 Just as it is written in the law of Moses, so all this calamity has come on us. Still we have not tried to pacify the LORD our God by turning back from our sin and by seeking wisdom from your reliable moral standards.
John 17:25 Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these men know that you sent me.
Eccl 7:20 For there is not one truly righteous person on the earth who continually does good and never sins.
1John 1:8 If we say we do not bear the guilt of sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1John 1:9 But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
1John 1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.
Please forgive me, Father for not seeking you sincerely enough. I want you above all other things. Keep my path strait. I can’t do it. I need you. Only you are perfectly righteous and I need your energy to walk the strait and narrow.
Jas 3:18 And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.
–
Day 50
-Our Father is full of tender mercy
Jas 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.
Ps 6:2 Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am frail! Heal me, LORD, for my bones are shaking!
Ps 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.
Ps 119:129 פ (Pe) Your rules are marvelous. Therefore I observe them.
Ps 119:130 Your instructions are a doorway through which light shines. They give insight to the untrained. Ps 119:131 I open my mouth and pant, because I long for your commands.
Ps 119:132 Turn toward me and extend mercy to me, as you typically do to your loyal followers.
Ps 119:133 Direct my steps by your word! Do not let any sin dominate me!
Prov 3:3 Do not let truth and mercy leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Prov 3:4 Then you will find favor and good understanding, in the sight of God and people. Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Prov 3:6 Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.
Prov 3:7 Do not be wise in your own estimation; fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
Matt 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Give me your tender mercy, Father, so that I can extend it to those around me. I rely on you.
Luke 1:78 Because of our God’s tender mercy the dawn will break upon us from on high
Luke 10:36 Which of these three do you think became a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?” Luke 10:37 The expert in religious law said, “The one who showed mercy to him.” So Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.”
Luke 18:39 And those who were in front scolded him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted even more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Eph 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, Eph 2:5 even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! – Eph 2:6 and he raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
Col 3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, Col 3:13 bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others. Col 3:14 And to all these virtues add love, which is the perfect bond.
Col 3:15 Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.
–
Day 51
-Our Father is the creator
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Gen 1:2 Now the earth was without shape and empty, and darkness was over the surface of the watery deep, but the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water.
Gen 1:3 God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light!
Gen 1:4 God saw that the light was good, so God separated the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” There was evening, and there was morning, marking the first day.
By your word, God, bring light into my heart and understanding.
Help me treasure your word and keep it in my heart and soul forever.
2Pet 3:5 For they deliberately suppress this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago and an earth was formed out of water and by means of water. 2Pet 3:6 Through these things the world existing at that time was destroyed when it was deluged with water.
Ps 33:6 By the LORD’s decree the heavens were made; by a mere word from his mouth all the stars in the sky were created.
Ps 148:5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he gave the command and they came into existence.
Ps 148:6 He established them so they would endure; he issued a decree that will not be revoked.
Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were set in order at God’s command, so that the visible has its origin in the invisible.
Why is my origin important? Because I can get a glimpse into how I was made. What my makeup is and what God designed me to be. It turns out that we are created by Him from Him and we are His offspring which means we are made of the good fiber that He is.
Praise you Father for making me good. Speak life into me and understanding into my mind and light into my spirit. Thank you for starting my life from your invisible singular purity.
Ps 51:10 Create for me a pure heart, O God! Renew a resolute spirit within me!
Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; Eph 2:9 it is not from works, so that no one can boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.
Eph 4:22 You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires, Eph 4:23 to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, Eph 4:24 and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image – in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.
–
Day 52
-Our Father is invisible
Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Hebrews 11:27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen.
John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.
1 Timothy 6:16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
Exodus 33:20 But He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!”
Job 9:11 “Were He to pass by me, I would not see Him; Were He to move past me, I would not perceive Him.
Job 23:8 “Behold, I go forward but He is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him;
John 5:37 “And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form.
1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
It used to bother me that God is invisible. but aren’t most good things like love.
I thought I could see Him if … and I can see Him if I am pure of heart.
He does exist in more light than I am able to see right now. Like looking right at the sun. I can feel the warmth but I can not see the sun directly not because it is not there but because I am blinded by its brilliance.
I need to accept things the way they are. God is too big for me to comprehend. I can only listen and obey, rely on Him to show me the way. Let His light shine from behind. Believe in Him like a close friend.
Invisible is scary. But God is unknowable in this same way. He is to be feared.
and He is to be loved. Humble submission I serve Him.
Father, although it seems easier to me if you were invisible. I understand that it is a blessing to believe even though I do not see.
I believe in you.
John 20:28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
John 20:29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
–
Day 53
-Our Father cares about us
Ps 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
1Pet 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,
1Pet 5:7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
1Pet 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Matt 6:19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,
Matt 6:20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Matt 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matt 6:22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,
Matt 6:23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
Matt 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
Matt 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Luke 12:28 But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!
Luke 12:29 And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried.
Luke 12:31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.
Phil 4:6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Heb 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Heb 13:6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
Father, help me to awaken to the revelation of your care for me. Guide me in seeking you first and releasing any control I am trying to exert on the situation. I release all my striving and place my life in your hands. Thank you for caring about me.
–
Day 54
-Our Father is strong
strong
Ps 9:9 The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
Ps 9:10 And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Ps 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle!
Ps 61:3 for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.
Ps 61:4 Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! — Selah
Ps 89:13 You have a mighty arm; strong is your hand, high your right hand.
1Cor 1:27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
2Cor 12:10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
1John 2:14 I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
Praise you Father for your strength and how you are greater and mightier than all things.
you rule all principalities and powers. Be my strength always.
I love you
–
Day 55
-Our Father is innocent
God never did nor will ever do anything wrong
we are called into His innocence
Matt 18:2 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them
Matt 18:3 and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matt 18:4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Matt 18:5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me,
Matt 18:35 So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”
Matt 19:13 Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people,
Matt 19:14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Matt 19:15 And he laid his hands on them and went away.
Matt 10:16 “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
Luke 23:47 Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent!”
Luke 23:47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
Only Jesus was completely innocent and righteous. We are called to be like Him.
Help me Jesus to be like you. I believe in your power to be innocent.
Phil 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
Phil 2:13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Phil 2:14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing,
Phil 2:15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
Heb 7:22 This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.
Heb 7:22 This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.
Heb 7:23 The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office,
Heb 7:24 but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever.
Heb 7:25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
Heb 7:26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.
Heb 7:27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.
Heb 7:28 For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.
Heb 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
Jesus is concecrated, perfect and complete
1Pet 1:13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1Pet 1:14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance,
1Pet 1:15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
1Pet 1:16 since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
1Pet 1:17 And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile,
1Pet 1:18 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold,
1Pet 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
1Pet 1:20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you
1Pet 1:21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
1Pet 1:22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
1Pet 1:23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
1Pet 1:24 for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls,
1Pet 1:25 but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.
Jesus is Holy Pure and blameless
1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1John 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
Ps 51:1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
Ps 51:2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!
Ps 51:3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.
Ps 51:4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment.
Ps 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Ps 51:6 Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.
Ps 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Ps 51:8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have broken rejoice.
Ps 51:9 Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
Ps 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Ps 51:11 Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
Ps 51:12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
Ps 51:13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.
Ps 51:14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.
Ps 51:15 O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.
Ps 51:16 For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it; you will not be pleased with a burnt offering.
Ps 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
Ps 51:18 Do good to Zion in your good pleasure; build up the walls of Jerusalem;
Ps 51:19 then will you delight in right sacrifices, in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings; then bulls will be offered on your altar.
Exod 12:22 Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
Rev 21:5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
Rev 21:6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
Rev 21:7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
fresh childlike innocence
Father bring the inner witnesses of Your spirit, water and blood to keep me trusting and obeying you. Raise up those three witnesses inside those around me. I know a small bit of You keep me contending to achieve more innocence by becoming like your son, Jesus. I love you dad.
Thank you.
Thank you for the revelation of innocence today. That childlike peaceful sweet innocence. I catch glimpses of it in people who sincerely do no harm. It is a precious treasure that I strongly desire to promote.
–
Day 56
-Our Father is our defense
Ps 48:3 God is in its fortresses; he reveals himself as its defender.
Ps 48:8 We heard about God’s mighty deeds, now we have seen them, in the city of the LORD, the invincible Warrior, in the city of our God. God makes it permanently secure. (Selah)
Ps 48:9 We reflect on your loyal love, O God, within your temple.
Ps 48:14 For God, our God, is our defender forever! He guides us!
Ps 73:26 My flesh and my heart may grow weak, but God always protects my heart and gives me stability.
Ps 73:28 But as for me, God’s presence is all I need. I have made the sovereign LORD my shelter, as I declare all the things you have done.
Ps 18:2 The LORD is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge.
Ps 91:1 As for you, the one who lives in the shelter of the sovereign One, and resides in the protective shadow of the mighty king –
Ps 91:2 I say this about the LORD, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust –
Ps 91:9 For you have taken refuge in the LORD, my shelter, the sovereign One.
Ps 91:10 No harm will overtake you; no illness will come near your home.
Ps 91:11 For he will order his angels to protect you in all you do.
Ps 91:14 The LORD says, “Because he is devoted to me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he is loyal to me.
Ps 59:10 The God who loves me will help me; God will enable me to triumph over my enemies.
Luke 21:14 Therefore be resolved not to rehearse ahead of time how to make your defense.
Luke 21:15 For I will give you the words along with the wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.
Luke 21:16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and they will have some of you put to death.
Luke 21:17 You will be hated by everyone because of my name.
Luke 21:18 Yet not a hair of your head will perish.
Luke 21:19 By your endurance you will gain your lives.
2Cor 7:10 For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.
2Cor 7:11 For see what this very thing, this sadness as God intended, has produced in you: what eagerness, what defense of yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what deep concern, what punishment! In everything you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
–
Day 57
-Our Father is our great shepherd
Song 1:8 The Lover to His Beloved: If you do not know, O most beautiful of women, simply follow the tracks of my flock, and pasture your little lambs beside the tents of the shepherds.
Shepherd Trilogy: read Psalm 22, 23. & 24
Ps 80:1 To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
Isa 40:11 Like a shepherd he tends his flock; he gathers up the lambs with his arm; he carries them close to his heart; he leads the ewes along.
Ezek 34:27 The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the earth will yield its crops. They will live securely on their land; they will know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
Ezek 34:28 They will no longer be prey for the nations and the wild beasts will not devour them. They will live securely and no one will make them afraid.
Ezek 34:29 I will prepare for them a healthy planting. They will no longer be victims of famine in the land and will no longer bear the insults of the nations.
Ezek 34:30 Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and that they are my people, the house of Israel, declares the sovereign LORD.
Ezek 34:31 And you, my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are my people, and I am your God, declares the sovereign LORD.’”
John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me –
John 10:4 When he has brought all his own sheep out, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.
Heb 13:20 Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ,
Heb 13:21 equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
1Pet 2:25 For you were going astray like sheep but now you have turned back to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.
1Pet 5:4 Then when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that never fades away.
Rev 7:17 because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Thank you Jesus for being my chief and great shepherd. Lead me.
–
Day 58
-Our Father owns everything
Ps 24:1 A psalm of David. The LORD owns the earth and all it contains, the world and all who live in it.
1Cor 10:26 for the earth and its abundance are the Lord’s.
Exod 19:5 And now, if you will diligently listen to me and keep my covenant, then you will be my special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is mine,
Deut 10:12 Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you except to revere him, to obey all his commandments, to love him, to serve him with all your mind and being,
Deut 10:13 and to keep the Lord’s commandments and statutes that I am giving you today for your own good?
Deut 10:14 The heavens – indeed the highest heavens – belong to the LORD your God, as does the earth and everything in it.
Ps 50:10 For every wild animal in the forest belongs to me, as well as the cattle that graze on a thousand hills. Ps 50:1I keep track of every bird in the hills, and the insects of the field are mine. Ps 50:12 Even if I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and all it contains belong to me.
My response is to approach the throne
Heb 4:14 Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession.
Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin.
Heb 4:16 Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.
Jas 2:5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him?
Jas 2:8 But if you fulfill the royal law as expressed in this scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.
Luke 12:31 Instead, pursue his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
Luke 12:32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is well pleased to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12:33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide yourselves purses that do not wear out – a treasure in heaven that never decreases, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.
Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Luke 12:31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
–
Day 59
-Our Father reveals the truth
Reveal your truth o God
2Pet 3:17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard that you do not get led astray by the error of these unprincipled men and fall from your firm grasp on the truth.
2Pet 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.
Prov 3:32 for one who goes astray is an abomination to the LORD, but he reveals his intimate counsel to the upright.
Gen 35:2 So Jacob told his household and all who were with him, “Get rid of the foreign gods you have among you. Purify yourselves and change your clothes. 3 Let us go up at once to Bethel. Then I will make an altar there to God, who responded to me in my time of distress and has been with me wherever I went.”
Isa 61:1 The spirit of the sovereign LORD is upon me, because the LORD has chosen me. He has commissioned me to encourage the poor, to help the brokenhearted, to decree the release of captives, and the freeing of prisoners, Isa 61:2 to announce the year when the LORD will show his favor, the day when our God will seek vengeance, to console all who mourn,
Isa 61:3 to strengthen those who mourn in Zion, by giving them a turban, instead of ashes, oil symbolizing joy, instead of mourning, a garment symbolizing praise, instead of discouragement. They will be called oaks of righteousness, trees planted by the LORD to reveal his splendor.
Matt 11:25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children.
Matt 16:15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Matt 16:16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Matt 16:17 And Jesus answered him, “You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven! Matt 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.
John 14:21 The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.”
Thank you God for your presence is the remedy to all my ills. You are the way the truth and the life. Reveal yourself to me.
(Note: the answer to melting deception is not a reason or thought but a friendship with Jesus.)
–
Day 60
-Our Father welcomes us
Come as you are
Num 10:32 And if you come with us, it is certain that whatever good things the LORD will favor us with, we will share with you as well.”
Matt 22:1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:
Matt 22:2 “The kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son.
Matt 22:3 He sent his slaves to summon those who had been invited to the banquet, but they would not come.
Matt 22:4 Again he sent other slaves, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Look! The feast I have prepared for you is ready. My oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.”’
Matt 22:5 But they were indifferent and went away, one to his farm, another to his business.
Matt 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
Matt 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
Matt 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
Matt 18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
Matt 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
Luke 9:11 But when the crowds found out, they followed him. He welcomed them, spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and cured those who needed healing.
Luke 9:12 Now the day began to draw to a close, so the twelve came and said to Jesus, “Send the crowd away, so they can go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and food, because we are in an isolated place.”
Luke 9:13 But he said to them, “You give them something to eat.” They replied, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish – unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
Luke 9:14 (Now about five thousand men were there.) Then he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”
Luke 9:15 So they did as Jesus directed, and the people all sat down.
Luke 9:16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven he gave thanks and broke them. He gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.
Luke 9:17 They all ate and were satisfied, and what was left over was picked up – twelve baskets of broken pieces.
Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all, “If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:24 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. Luke 9:25 For what does it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself? Luke 9:26 For whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
Luke 15:2 But the Pharisees and the experts in the law were complaining, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
Acts 10:34 Then Peter started speaking: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people,
Acts 10:35 but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is welcomed before him.
My response is to live out His message. To humbly welcome Him and all His creations.
Jas 1:19 Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters! Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.
Jas 1:20 For human anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness.
Jas 1:21 So put away all filth and evil excess and humbly welcome the message implanted within you, which is able to save your souls.
Jas 1:22 But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves.
Thank you God for accepting me through Jesus. Thank you for loving me now as I am and encouraging me to do better. Not demanding like a mean stepmother. But like a gentle mother encouraging her child to walk.
Yes you demand righteousness because You are Holy. But you also love perfectly beyond what I know. I have tasted and seen and your love draws me higher.
–
Day 61
-Our Father is eternal.
Have you ever spent time with God and it feels like no time at all yet you are not sure if one second passed or 5 hours?
That is the kind of time that God lives in.
Father, let me spend some time in your presence. I love your timelessness.
Gen 21:33 Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer Sheba. There he worshiped the LORD, the eternal God.
Isa 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is an eternal God, the creator of the whole earth. He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to his wisdom. Isa 40:29 He gives strength to those who are tired; to the ones who lack power, he gives renewed energy.
Isa 40:30 Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble.
Isa 40:31 But those who wait for the LORD’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.
Rev 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end!)
Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can have access to the tree of life and can enter into the city by the gates.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God.
John 1:2 The Word was with God in the beginning.
John 1:3 All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.
John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.
John 1:5 And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it.
This particularly bothered me. How can Jesus be born in time and yet be there at the creation of everything. This is how God is timeless. God can honor retro prayers. Lets say I forget to pray for someone for a certain event. It is good to pray anyway even if I am late because God is never late. Also I suspect it is good to pray for Jesus on the cross to have strength to endure it.
Jesus on the cross is the now moment for God. It is where humanity is able to touch Him. It is the “place and time” where we always meet Him. All my prayers when God is present take place at that moment when Jesus ‘was’ is on the cross…
–
Day 62
-Our Father is Blessed
Eph 1:3 Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.
adorable, Thank, bless and praise
Rom 1:25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
2Cor 1:3 Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
2Cor 11:30 If I must boast, I will boast about the things that show my weakness.
2Cor 11:31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is blessed forever, knows I am not lying.
2Cor 11:32 In Damascus, the governor under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascus in order to arrest me,
2Cor 11:33 but I was let down in a rope-basket through a window in the city wall, and escaped his hands.
1Tim 1:11 This accords with the glorious gospel of the blessed God that was entrusted to me.
1Tim 1:12 I am grateful to the one who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me faithful in putting me into ministry,
1Tim 1:13 even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I was treated with mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief,
1Tim 1:14 and our Lord’s grace was abundant, bringing faith and love in Christ Jesus.
1Tim 1:15 This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” – and I am the worst of them!
1Tim 1:16 But here is why I was treated with mercy: so that in me as the worst, Christ Jesus could demonstrate his utmost patience, as an example for those who are going to believe in him for eternal life.
1Tim 1:17 Now to the eternal king, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever! Amen.
1Tim 6:6 Now godliness combined with contentment brings great profit.
1Tim 6:15 – whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time.
1Tim 6:16 He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.
1Pet 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
–
Day 63
-Our Father is a jealous husband
Num 5:6 “Tell the Israelites, ‘When a man or a woman commits any sin that people commit, thereby breaking faith with the LORD, and that person is found guilty,
Num 5:7 then he must confess his sin that he has committed and must make full reparation, add one fifth to it, and give it to whomever he wronged.
Num 5:14 and if jealous feelings come over him and he becomes suspicious of his wife, when she is defiled; or if jealous feelings come over him and he becomes suspicious of his wife, when she is not defiled –
Num 5:27 When he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and behaved unfaithfully toward her husband, the water that brings a curse will enter her to produce bitterness – her abdomen will swell, her thigh will fall away, and the woman will become a curse among her people.
Num 5:28 But if the woman has not defiled herself, and is clean, then she will be free of ill effects and will be able to bear children.
Isa 1:18 Come, let’s consider your options,” says the LORD. “Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.
Isa 1:19 If you have a willing attitude and obey, then you will again eat the good crops of the land.
confess sins to God now
There is consequences of sin that are not all washed away by God. We might experience some of the curse because God is jealous and we have sinned.
We are free now. We are becoming like Him. We are made in His image and we are returning to that image. We are His righteousness. That is my ideal and goal. I confess that I am His righteousness and I turn toward Him.
I am sorry for… Pride
Gal 5:24 Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Gal 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit.
Gal 5:26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of one another.
Help me be willing and obedient not rebellious and refusing
–
Day 64
-Our Father is our leader
Gal 5:16 But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh has desires that are opposed to the Spirit, and the Spirit has desires that are opposed to the flesh, for these are in opposition to each other, so that you cannot do what you want.
Gal 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Ps 4:1 For the music director, to be accompanied by stringed instruments; a psalm of David. When I call out, answer me, O God who vindicates me! Though I am hemmed in, you will lead me into a wide, open place. Have mercy on me and respond to my prayer!
Ps 5:8 LORD, lead me in your righteousness because of those who wait to ambush me, remove the obstacles in the way in which you are guiding me!
Ps 16:11 You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.
Ps 23:2 He takes me to lush pastures, he leads me to refreshing water.
Ps 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Ps 139:23 Examine me, and probe my thoughts! Test me, and know my concerns!
Ps 139:24 See if there is any idolatrous tendency in me, and lead me in the reliable ancient path!
Prov 4:11 I will guide you in the way of wisdom and I will lead you in upright paths.
Isa 58:10 You must actively help the hungry and feed the oppressed. Then your light will dispel the darkness, and your darkness will be transformed into noonday.
Isa 58:11 The LORD will continually lead you; he will feed you even in parched regions. He will give you renewed strength, and you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water.
Rom 2:4 Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?
2Cor 7:10 For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.
2Cor 7:11 For see what this very thing, this sadness as God intended, has produced in you: what eagerness, what defense of yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what deep concern, what punishment! In everything you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
2Cor 7:12 So then, even though I wrote to you, it was not on account of the one who did wrong, or on account of the one who was wronged, but to reveal to you your eagerness on our behalf before God.
Father increase my zeal for you.
–
Day 65
-Our Father is heavenly not earthly
Whoever raised you was human. This means some good things were shown through them and some bad things. God is not like that. He is unconditional in His love.
He is Wise in His parenting. He accepts me completely eternally.
I have only to accept or reject Him.
He will reveal Himself.
To you Father, I listen. I look and seek you.
Thank you God for being a father who I don’t know enough. Open my heart and mind to your revelation.
Matt 5:48 So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matt 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you,
Matt 5:45 so that you may be like your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Matt 6:14 “For if you forgive others their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Matt 6:26 Look at the birds in the sky: They do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you more valuable than they are?
I know I fall short and its not devastating because I know God loves me anyway. He died for me while I was still a sinner. Help me to sin less Jesus.
Luke 11:13 If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
–
Day 66
-Our Daddy is inexhaustible
Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Eph 3:14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, Eph 3:15 from whom every family in heaven and on the earth is named. Eph 3:16 I pray that according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,
Eph 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:18 you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, Eph 3:19 and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Eph 3:20 Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think, Eph 3:21 to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
1Cor 2:9 But just as it is written, “Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love him.” 1Cor 2:10 God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
1Tim 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Eph 1:8 that he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.
2Pet 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
2Pet 1:3 I can pray this because his divine power has bestowed on us everything necessary for life and godliness through the rich knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and excellence.
2Pet 1:4 Through these things he has bestowed on us his precious and most magnificent promises, so that by means of what was promised you may become partakers of the divine nature, after escaping the worldly corruption that is produced by evil desire.
2Pet 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge;
2Pet 1:6 to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness;
–
Day 67
-Our Father is over all
Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Ps 7:7 The countries are assembled all around you; take once more your rightful place over them!
Ps 7:17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
Ps 7:17I will thank the LORD for his justice; I will sing praises to the sovereign LORD!
Ps 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Ps 68:34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
Luke 1:35 The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called the Son of God.
Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”
It speaks of position. We are laying down while God stands over us
Luke 4:39 So he stood over her, commanded the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.
Acts 7:48 Yet the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands, as the prophet says,
Acts 7:49 ‘Heaven is my throne, and earth is the footstool for my feet. What kind of house will you build for me, says the Lord, or what is my resting place?
Acts 7:50 Did my hand not make all these things?’
Acts 7:51 “You stubborn people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit, like your ancestors did!
Rom 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Jesus has overcame so we can overcome
Rom 15:12 And again Isaiah says, “The root of Jesse will come, and the one who rises to rule over the Gentiles, in him will the Gentiles hope.”
Rom 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
–
Day 68
-Our Father can do the impossible
I have seen Him do it many times: Healings, work, love.
I need Him to get me through that wall
Luke 18:27 He replied, “What is impossible for mere humans is possible for God.”
Gen 18:14 Is anything impossible for the LORD? I will return to you when the season comes round again and Sarah will have a son.”
Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted;
Jer 32:17 ‘Oh, Lord GOD, you did indeed make heaven and earth by your mighty power and great strength. Nothing is too hard for you!
Jer 32:27 “I am the LORD, the God of all humankind. There is, indeed, nothing too difficult for me.
Zech 8:6 And,’ says the LORD who rules over all, ‘though such a thing may seem to be difficult in the opinion of the small community of those days, will it also appear difficult to me?’ asks the LORD who rules over all.
Matt 19:26 Jesus looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, but for God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, but not for God; all things are possible for God.”
Num 11:21 Moses said, “The people around me are 600,000 on foot; but you say, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat for a whole month.’ Num 11:22 Would they have enough if the flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? If all the fish of the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?”
Num 11:23 And the LORD said to Moses, “Is the LORD’s hand shortened? Now you will see whether my word to you will come true or not!”
Eph 1:19 and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.
Eph 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,
Eph 2:5 even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! – Eph 2:6 and he raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, Eph 2:7 to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Luke 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Luke 1:38 So Mary said, “Yes, I am a servant of the Lord; let this happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her.
–
Day 69
-Our Father restores and refreshes
Ps 23:3 He restores my strength. He leads me down the right paths for the sake of his reputation.
Ps 85:4 Restore us, O God our deliverer! Do not be displeased with us!
Prov 3:8 This will bring healing to your body, and refreshment to your inner self.
Prov 25:11 Like apples of gold in settings of silver, so is a word skillfully spoken.
Prov 25:12 Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover to the ear of the one who listens.
Prov 25:13 Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to those who send him, for he refreshes the heart of his masters.
Prov 25:25 Like cold water to a weary person, so is good news from a distant land.
Father help me be a good messenger for You.
give me your words to speak skillfully. Let me be wise in reproof.
Jer 31:25 I will fully satisfy the needs of those who are weary and fully refresh the souls of those who are faint.
Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,
Acts 3:20 so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that he may send the Messiah appointed for you – that is, Jesus.
1Cor 16:18 For they refreshed my spirit and yours. So then, recognize people like this.
Work through me to refresh everyone around me.
Phil 2:1 Therefore, if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort provided by love, any fellowship in the Spirit, any affection or mercy, Phil 2:2 complete my joy and be of the same mind, by having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose. Phil 2:3 Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself.
Phil 2:4 Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well. Phil 2:5 You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, Phil 2:6 who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, Phil 2:7 but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature.
–
Day 70
-Our Father increases our faith
Gen 15:6 Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD considered his response of faith as proof of genuine loyalty.
Exod 20:4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is on the earth beneath or that is in the water below.
Exod 20:5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children to the third and fourth generations of those who reject me,
Exod 20:6 and showing covenant faithfulness to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Josh 21:43 So the LORD gave Israel all the land he had solemnly promised to their ancestors, and they conquered it and lived in it. Josh 21:44 The LORD made them secure, in fulfillment of all he had solemnly promised their ancestors. None of their enemies could resist them.
Josh 21:45 Not one of the LORD’s faithful promises to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; every one was realized.
1Sam 12:23 As far as I am concerned, far be it from me to sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you! I will instruct you in the way that is good and upright.
1Sam 12:24 However, fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart. Just look at the great things he has done for you!
Ps 18:30 The one true God acts in a faithful manner; the LORD’s promise is reliable; he is a shield to all who take shelter in him.
Luke 5:19 But since they found no way to carry him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down on the stretcher through the roof tiles right in front of Jesus.
Luke 5:20 When Jesus saw their faith he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

Mark 9:23 Then Jesus said to him, “‘If you are able?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”

Phil 1:29 For it has been granted to you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him,

Prov 30:4 Who has ascended into heaven, and then descended? Who has gathered up the winds in his fists? Who has bound up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? – if you know! Prov 30:5 Every word of God is purified; he is like a shield for those who take refuge in him.
Matt 11:27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.

Day 72
-Our Father is extremely intimate
Song 1:2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.
Father, help me completely give myself over to your mercy. To live devoted in faith and trusting you.
1Cor 2:10 God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
1Cor 2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So too, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
1Cor 2:12 Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.
1Cor 2:13 And we speak about these things, not with words taught us by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.
Rom 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:22 But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.
Rom 6:23 For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Isa 54:4 Don’t be afraid, for you will not be put to shame! Don’t be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated! You will forget about the shame you experienced in your youth; you will no longer remember the disgrace of your abandonment.
Isa 54:5 For your husband is the one who made you – the LORD who commands armies is his name. He is your protector, the Holy One of Israel. He is called “God of the entire earth.”

1Tim 6:13 I charge you before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made his good confession before Pontius Pilate,
Deut 8:13 when your cattle and flocks increase, when you have plenty of silver and gold, and when you have abundance of everything,
Deut 8:14 be sure you do not feel self-important and forget the LORD your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, the place of slavery,
Deut 8:15 and who brought you through the great, fearful desert of venomous serpents and scorpions, an arid place with no water. He made water flow from a flint rock and
Deut 8:16 fed you in the desert with manna (which your ancestors had never before known) so that he might by humbling you test you and eventually bring good to you.
Deut 8:17 Be careful not to say, “My own ability and skill have gotten me this wealth.”
Deut 8:18 You must remember the LORD your God, for he is the one who gives ability to get wealth; if you do this he will confirm his covenant that he made by oath to your ancestors, even as he has to this day.
2Sam 22:34 He gives me the agility of a deer; he enables me to negotiate the rugged terrain.

John 1:9 The true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
–
Day 74

Ps 139:6 Your knowledge is beyond my comprehension; it is so far beyond me, I am unable to fathom it.
1Sam 3:18 And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he (Eli) said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.
Amen.
Ps 27:14 Rely on the LORD! Be strong and confident! Rely on the LORD!
2Cor 12:10 Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
Job 42:1 Then Job answered the LORD:
Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted;
Job 42:3 you asked, ‘Who is this who darkens counselwithout knowledge?’But I have declared without understanding things too wonderful for me to know.
Job 42:4 You said, ‘Pay attention, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’
Job 42:5 I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,but now my eye has seen you.
Job 42:6 Therefore I despise myself, and I repent in dust and ashes!
Isa 12:2 Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.”
Isa 12:3 Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance.
Heb 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Heb 6:18 so that we who have found refuge in him may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things (counsel and oath), since it is impossible for God to lie.
Heb 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain,
Heb 6:20 where Jesus our forerunner entered on our behalf, since he became a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.
–
Day 75
-Our Father is sincere
Ps 2:11 Serve the LORD in fear! Repent in terror!
Ps 2:12 Give sincere homage! Otherwise he will be angry, and you will die because of your behavior, when his anger quickly ignites. How blessed are all who take shelter in him!
Ps 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Ps 119:7 I will give you sincere thanks, when I learn your just regulations.
Ps 145:18 The LORD is near all who cry out to him, all who cry out to him sincerely.
Ps 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
Father, help me be completely honest with you. If I am angry to confess and repent,
If i am sad or disappointed to share sincerely and from my heart. I love you,
Luke 16:15 But Jesus said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in men’s eyes, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly prized among men is utterly detestable in God’s sight.
Phil 1:9 And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight Phil 1:10 so that you can decide what is best, and thus be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ, Phil 1:11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.
Col 3:22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, not only when they are watching – like those who are strictly people-pleasers – but with a sincere heart, fearing the Lord.
Col 3:23 Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people,
Col 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
1Tim 1:5 But the aim of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.
Heb 10:22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.
1Pet 1:22 You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.
1Pet 1:23 You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. 1Pet 1:24 For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off,
1Pet 1:25 but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.
–
Day 76
-Our Father’s word endures forever
1Pet 1:25 but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.
Matt 5:18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth pass away not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter will pass from the law until everything takes place.
Luke 16:17 But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a letter in the law to become void.
Isa 40:8 The grass dries up, the flowers wither, but the decree of our God is forever reliable.”
John 10:35 If those people to whom the word of God came were called ‘gods’ (and the scripture cannot be broken),
Gen 1:3 God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light!
He spoke and it was created. When you reveal things to us, Father, they activate and become real.
Lam 3:37 מ (Mem) Whose command was ever fulfilled unless the Lord decreed it?
Lam 3:38 Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that everything comes – both calamity and blessing?
Gen 2:7 The LORD God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Deut 4:32 Indeed, ask about the distant past, starting from the day God created humankind on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether there has ever been such a great thing as this, or even a rumor of it.
Deut 4:33 Have a people ever heard the voice of God speaking from the middle of fire, as you yourselves have, and lived to tell about it?
Deut 4:34 Or has God ever before tried to deliver a nation from the middle of another nation, accompanied by judgments, signs, wonders, war, strength, power, and other very terrifying things like the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?
Deut 4:35 You have been taught that the LORD alone is God – there is no other besides him.
Deut 4:36 From heaven he spoke to you in order to teach you, and on earth he showed you his great fire from which you also heard his words.
Deut 4:37 Moreover, because he loved your ancestors, he chose their descendants who followed them and personally brought you out of Egypt with his great power
Deut 4:38 to dispossess nations greater and stronger than you and brought you here this day to give you their land as your property.
Deut 4:39 Today realize and carefully consider that the LORD is God in heaven above and on earth below – there is no other!
Deut 4:40 Keep his statutes and commandments that I am setting forth today so that it may go well with you and your descendants and that you may enjoy longevity in the land that the LORD your God is about to give you as a permanent possession.
1Cor 10:1 For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea,
1Cor 10:2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,
1Cor 10:3 and all ate the same spiritual food,
1Cor 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they were all drinking from the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.
1Cor 10:5 But God was not pleased with most of them, for they were cut down in the wilderness.
1Cor 10:6 These things happened as examples for us, so that we will not crave evil things as they did.
1Cor 10:7 So do not be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.”
1Cor 10:8 And let us not be immoral, as some of them were, and twenty-three thousand died in a single day.
1Cor 10:9 And let us not put Christ to the test, as some of them did, and were destroyed by snakes.
1Cor 10:10 And do not complain, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroying angel.
1Cor 10:11 These things happened to them as examples and were written for our instruction, on whom the ends of the ages have come.
1Cor 10:12 So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.
1Cor 10:13 No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.
Ps 33:6 By the LORD’s decree the heavens were made; by a mere word from his mouth all the stars in the sky were created.
Ps 33:7 He piles up the water of the sea; he puts the oceans in storehouses.
Ps 33:8 Let the whole earth fear the LORD! Let all who live in the world stand in awe of him!
Ps 33:9 For he spoke, and it came into existence, he issued the decree, and it stood firm.
Ps 104:29 When you ignore them, they panic. When you take away their life’s breath, they die and return to dust.
Ps 104:30 When you send your life-giving breath, they are created, and you replenish the surface of the ground.
Isa 42:5 This is what the true God, the LORD, says – the one who created the sky and stretched it out, the one who fashioned the earth and everything that lives on it, the one who gives breath to the people on it, and life to those who live on it:
Isa 42:6 “I, the LORD, officially commission you; I take hold of your hand. I protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, and a light to the nations,
Isa 42:7 to open blind eyes, to release prisoners from dungeons, those who live in darkness from prisons.
Acts 17:25 nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone.
John 1:2 The Word was with God in the beginning.
John 1:3 All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.
John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Eph 4:22 You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires,
Eph 4:23 to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Eph 4:24 and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image – in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.
Eph 4:25 Therefore, having laid aside falsehood, each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
Eph 4:26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger.
Eph 4:27 Do not give the devil an opportunity.
Eph 4:28 The one who steals must steal no longer; rather he must labor, doing good with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with the one who has need.
Eph 4:29 You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Eph 4:31 You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarreling, and evil, slanderous talk.
Eph 4:32 Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.
Eccl 12:13 Having heard everything, I have reached this conclusion: Fear God and keep his commandments, because this is the whole duty of man.
Eccl 12:14 For God will evaluate every deed, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.
–
Day 77
-Our Father is unstoppable
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.
Hos 14:1 Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God,for your sin has been your downfall!
Hos 14:2 Return to the LORD and repent! Say to him: “Completely forgive our iniquity; accept our penitential prayer, that we may offer the praise of our lips as sacrificial bulls.
Hos 14:4“I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger will turn away from them.
Hos 14:5 I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily, he will send down his roots like a cedar of Lebanon.
Acts 12:24 But the word of God kept on increasing and multiplying.
Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a human being, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen?
No matter who or what comes God in me is unstoppable
1Sam 17:45 But David replied to the Philistine, “You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin. But I am coming against you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel’s armies, whom you have defied!
1Sam 17:50 David prevailed over the Philistine with just the sling and the stone. He struck down the Philistine and killed him. David did not even have a sword in his hand.
1Sam 17:51 David ran and stood over the Philistine. He grabbed Goliath’s sword, drew it from its sheath, killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they ran away.
1Sam 2:9 He watches over his holy ones, but the wicked are made speechless in the darkness, for it is not by one’s own strength that one prevails.
1Sam 2:10 The LORD shatters his adversaries; he thunders against them from the heavens. The LORD executes judgment to the ends of the earth. He will strengthen his king and exalt the power of his anointed one.”
Zech 4:6 Therefore he told me, “These signify the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by strength and not by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD who rules over all.”
Hag 2:4 Even so, take heart, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD. ‘Take heart, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you citizens of the land,’ says the LORD, ‘and begin to work. For I am with you,’ says the LORD who rules over all. Hag 2:5 ‘Do not fear, because I made a promise to your ancestors when they left Egypt, and my spirit even now testifies to you.’ Hag 2:6 Moreover, the LORD who rules over all says: ‘In just a little while I will once again shake the sky and the earth, the sea and the dry ground.
Hag 2:7 I will also shake up all the nations, and they will offer their treasures; then I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD who rules over all.
Hag 2:8 ‘The silver and gold will be mine,’ says the LORD who rules over all.
Hag 2:9 ‘The future splendor of this temple will be greater than that of former times,’ the LORD who rules over all declares, ‘and in this place I will give peace.’”
–
Day 78
-Our Father abundantly pardons
Zech 1:3 Therefore say to the people: The LORD who rules over all says, “Turn to me,” says the LORD who rules over all, “and I will turn to you,” says the LORD who rules over all.
Zech 1:4 “Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the former prophets called out, saying, ‘The LORD who rules over all says, “Turn now from your evil wickedness,”’ but they would by no means obey me,” says the LORD. Zech 1:5 “As for your ancestors, where are they? And did the prophets live forever?
Zech 1:6 But have my words and statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, not outlived your fathers? Then they paid attention and confessed, ‘The LORD who rules over all has indeed done what he said he would do to us, because of our sinful ways.’”
Isa 55:6 Seek the LORD while he makes himself available; call to him while he is nearby!
Isa 55:7 The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.
Isa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Luke 7:47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which were many, are forgiven, thus she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little loves little.”
Luke 15:10 In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
Luke 13:5 No, I tell you! But unless you repent you will all perish as well!”
Ezek 18:30 “Therefore I will judge each person according to his conduct, O house of Israel, declares the sovereign LORD. Repent and turn from all your wickedness; then it will not be an obstacle leading to iniquity. Ezek 18:31 Throw away all your sins you have committed and fashion yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why should you die, O house of Israel? Ezek 18:32 For I take no delight in the death of anyone, declares the sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
Ps 51:10 Create for me a pure heart, O God! Renew a resolute spirit within me!
Jas 4:4 Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy. Jas 4:5 Or do you think the scripture means nothing when it says, “The spirit that God caused to live within us has an envious yearning”?
Jas 4:6 But he gives greater grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.” Jas 4:7 So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you. Jas 4:8 Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double-minded. Jas 4:9 Grieve, mourn, and weep. Turn your laughter into mourning and your joy into despair. Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will exalt you.
Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,
Acts 3:20 so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that he may send the Messiah appointed for you – that is, Jesus. Acts 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
–
Day 79
-Our Father guides us out of deceit
1John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, 1John 2:16 because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world.
Prov 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
Matt 21:28 “What do you think? A man had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ Matt 21:29 The boy answered, ‘I will not.’ But later he had a change of heart and went.
Matt 21:30 The father went to the other son and said the same thing. This boy answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but did not go. Matt 21:31 Which of the two did his father’s will?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, tax collectors and prostitutes will go ahead of you into the kingdom of God!
Matt 21:32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him. But the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe. Although you saw this, you did not later change your minds and believe him.
Luke 7:42 When they could not pay, he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Luke 7:43 Simon answered, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled.” Jesus said to him, “You have judged rightly.” Luke 7:44 Then, turning toward the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house. You gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
Father, shine your light and reveal my deceptions John 14:6 Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:15 “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. John 14:16 Then I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he resides with you and will be in you. John 14:18 “I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you. John 14:19 In a little while the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too. John 14:20 You will know at that time that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you. John 14:21 The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.”
2Thess 2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not arrive until the rebellion comes and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. 2Thess 2:4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, and as a result he takes his seat in God’s temple, displaying himself as God.
1Tim 2:3 Such prayer for all is good and welcomed before God our Savior, 1Tim 2:4 since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1Tim 2:5 For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human, 1Tim 2:6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time.

Day 80
-Our Father is findable
Luke 11:2 So he said to them, “When you pray, say: Father, may your name be honored; may your kingdom come. Luke 11:3 Give us each day our daily bread,
Luke 11:4 and forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And do not lead us into temptation.” Luke 11:5 Then he said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
Luke 11:6 because a friend of mine has stopped here while on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him.’ Luke 11:7 Then he will reply from inside, ‘Do not bother me. The door is already shut, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything.’
Luke 11:8 I tell you, even though the man inside will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of the first man’s sheer persistence he will get up and give him whatever he needs.
Luke 11:9 “So I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
Luke 11:10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Luke 11:11 What father among you, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish? Luke 11:12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
Luke 11:13 If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
Matt 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 15:3 So Jesus told them this parable:
Luke 15:4 “Which one of you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, would not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go look for the one that is lost until he finds it?
Luke 15:5 Then when he has found it, he places it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Luke 15:6 Returning home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, telling them, ‘Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep that was lost.’
Luke 15:7 I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need to repent.
Luke 15:8 “Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search thoroughly until she finds it?
Luke 15:9 Then when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’
Luke 15:10 In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
Help me seek you, Father and to seek with you the lost by loving them, Direct my attention to you first and last. You have done it, everything. It is all because of you.
–
Day 81
-Our Father is the first cause
He is first cause
He will be the last cause
and He is every cause in between
1Cor 3:7 So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.
1Cor 3:12 If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
1Cor 3:18 Guard against self-deception, each of you. If someone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise.
1Cor 3:19 For the wisdom of this age is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.”
1Cor 3:20 And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”
1Cor 3:21 So then, no more boasting about mere mortals! For everything belongs to you,
1Cor 3:22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you,
1Cor 3:23 and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
1Cor 8:6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we live, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we live.
“Through whom are all things” means everything that is currently perceivable exists because of Jesus.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,
Col 1:16 for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through him and for him.
Col 1:17 He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.
Col 1:18 He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that he himself may become first in all things.
Col 1:19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in the Son
Col 1:20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself by making peace through the blood of his cross – through him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
–
Day 82
-He frees us from worry
Matt 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing?
Matt 6:26 Look at the birds in the sky: They do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you more valuable than they are?
Matt 6:27 And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life?
Matt 6:28 Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or spin.
Matt 6:29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these!
Matt 6:30 And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, won’t he clothe you even more, you people of little faith?
Matt 6:31 So then, don’t worry saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’
Matt 6:32 For the unconverted pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. Matt 6:33 But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matt 6:34 So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.
3x He says don’t worry. Store this in my heart
Prov 2:1 My child, if you receive my words, and store up my commands within you,
Prov 2:2 by making your ear attentive to wisdom, and by turning your heart to understanding,
Prov 2:3 indeed, if you call out for discernment – raise your voice for understanding –
Prov 2:4 if you seek it like silver, and search for it like hidden treasure,
v:5 then you will understand how to fear the LORD, and you will discover knowledge about God.
Prov 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Prov 2:7 He stores up effective counsel for the upright, and is like a shield for those who live with integrity, Prov 2:8 to guard the paths of the righteous and to protect the way of his pious ones.
Prov 2:9 Then you will understand righteousness and justiceand equity – every good way.
Prov 2:10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and moral knowledge will be attractive to you.
Prov 2:11 Discretion will protect you, understanding will guard you,
Prov 2:12 to deliver you from the way of the wicked, from those speaking perversity,
Prov 2:13 who leave the upright paths to walk on the dark ways,
Prov 2:14 who delight in doing evil,they rejoice in perverse evil;
Prov 2:15 whose paths are morally crooked, and who are devious in their ways;
Ps 34:2 I will boast in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice!
Ps 34:3 Magnify the LORD with me! Let’s praise his name together!
Ps 34:4 I sought the LORD’s help and he answered me;he delivered me from all my fears.
Ps 34:5 Those who look to him for help are happy; their faces are not ashamed.
Ps 34:6 This oppressed man cried out and the LORD heard; he saved him from all his troubles.
Ps 34:7 The LORD’s angel camps around the LORD’s loyal followers and delivers them.
Ps 34:8 Taste and see that the LORD is good! How blessed is the one who takes shelter in him!
Ps 34:9 Remain loyal to the LORD, you chosen people of his,for his loyal followers lack nothing!
–
Day 83
-God will not abandon us
I trust that you will not abandon me.
Ps 94:9 Does the one who makes the human ear not hear? Does the one who forms the human eye not see?
Ps 94:14 Certainly the LORD does not forsake his people; he does not abandon the nation that belongs to him.
Ps 138:1 By David. I will give you thanks with all my heart; before the heavenly assembly I will sing praises to you.
Ps 138:2 I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, because of your loyal love and faithfulness, for you have exalted your promise above the entire sky.
Ps 138:3 When I cried out for help, you answered me. You made me bold and energized me.
Ps 138:4 Let all the kings of the earth give thanks to you, O LORD, when they hear the words you speak.
Ps 138:5 Let them sing about the LORD’s deeds, for the LORD’s splendor is magnificent.
Ps 138:6 Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the lowly, and recognizes the proud from far away.
Ps 138:7 Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, you revive me. You oppose my angry enemies, and your right hand delivers me.
Ps 138:8 The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made!
John 14:18 “I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you.
2Cor 4:9 we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed,
2Cor 4:15 For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.
2Cor 4:16 Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day.
Heb 13:5 Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.”
Heb 13:6 So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for the LORD your God is the one who is going with you. He will not fail you or abandon you!”
Josh 1:5 No one will be able to resist you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not abandon you or leave you alone.
–
Day 84
-He fights for us
Exod 14:13 Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand firm and see the salvation of the LORD that he will provide for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today you will never, ever see again.
Exod 14:14 The LORD will fight for you, and you can be still.”
Deut 3:22 Do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God will personally fight for you.”
Ps 44:3 For they did not conquer the land by their swords, and they did not prevail by their strength, but rather by your power, strength and good favor, for you were partial to them.
Ps 46:10 He says, “Stop your striving and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”
Ps 46:11 The LORD who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector! (Selah)
Josh 6:1 Now Jericho was shut tightly because of the Israelites. No one was allowed to leave or enter.
Josh 6:2 The LORD told Joshua, “See, I am about to defeat Jericho for you, along with its king and its warriors.
Josh 6:3 Have all the warriors march around the city one time; do this for six days.
Josh 6:4 Have seven priests carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the horns.
Josh 6:5 When you hear the signal from the ram’s horn, have the whole army give a loud battle cry. Then the city wall will collapse and the warriors should charge straight ahead.”
Ps 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Mark 4:39 So he got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Be quiet! Calm down!” Then the wind stopped, and it was dead calm.
Mark 10:46 They came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples and a large crowd were leaving Jericho, Bartimaeus the son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road. Mark 10:47 When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Mark 10:48 Many scolded him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Mark 10:49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man and said to him, “Have courage! Get up! He is calling you.” Mark 10:50 He threw off his cloak, jumped up, and came to Jesus. Mark 10:51 Then Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied, “Rabbi, let me see again.” Mark 10:52 Jesus said to him, “Go, your faith has healed you.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the road.
Thank you Father, heal my blindness. Calm the storms in me. Have your way, your victorious way over everything in my life. I love you.
–
Day 85
-He is not separate from us
Why does God hate complaining so much? Is he making a rule to always be positive? No. He is pointing out and leading us away from self pity because self pity is separate. It focuses on me. It is pride entangled and leads us away from Him.
Acts 8:6 The crowds were paying attention with one mind to what Philip said, as they heard and saw the miraculous signs he was performing.
John 17:11 I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.
no self pity.
first it is not a real feeling. It is a judgement. I really feel bad, sad, tired, hungry, whatever.
Then I judge, poor me.
What is poor about me? Nothing. With Jesus I am rich.
I am rich in the Lord and the power of His might.
2Cor 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich, he became poor for your sakes, so that you by his poverty could become rich.
Eph 3:8 To me – less than the least of all the saints – this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ
Eph 3:10 The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms.
Col 1:27 God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
the bread of idleness (gossip, discontent, and self-pity) she (the virtuous woman) will not eat.” – Proverbs 31:27 AMP
1Cor 13:5 It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful.
1Cor 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot take part in the table of the Lord and the table of demons.
2Cor 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that could defile the body and the spirit, and thus accomplish holiness out of reverence for God.
2Cor 7:10 For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.
This is a huge part of dealing with self pity. Repent. Be honest with God about being sad.
2Cor 2:3 And I wrote this very thing to you, so that when I came I would not have sadness from those who ought to make me rejoice, since I am confident in you all that my joy would be yours.
2Cor 2:4 For out of great distress and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not to make you sad, but to let you know the love that I have especially for you.
2Cor 2:5 But if anyone has caused sadness, he has not saddened me alone, but to some extent (not to exaggerate) he has saddened all of you as well.
2Cor 2:6 This punishment on such an individual by the majority is enough for him,
2Cor 2:7 so that now instead you should rather forgive and comfort him. This will keep him from being overwhelmed by excessive grief to the point of despair.
2Cor 2:8 Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love for him.
2Cor 2:9 For this reason also I wrote you: to test you to see if you are obedient in everything.
2Cor 2:10 If you forgive anyone for anything, I also forgive him – for indeed what I have forgiven (if I have forgiven anything) I did so for you in the presence of Christ,
2Cor 2:11 so that we may not be exploited by Satan (for we are not ignorant of his schemes).
Jas 2:1 My brothers and sisters, do not show prejudice if you possess faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ.
Jas 2:2 For if someone comes into your assembly wearing a gold ring and fine clothing, and a poor person enters in filthy clothes,
Jas 2:3 do you pay attention to the one who is finely dressed and say, “You sit here in a good place,” and to the poor person, “You stand over there,” or “Sit on the floor”?
Jas 2:4 If so, have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil motives?
Jas 2:5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him?
Jas 2:6 But you have dishonored the poor! Are not the rich oppressing you and dragging you into the courts?
Jas 2:7 Do they not blaspheme the good name of the one you belong to?
Jas 2:8 But if you fulfill the royal law as expressed in this scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.
1John 4:11 Dear friends, if God so loved us, then we also ought to love one another.
1John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God resides in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Getting my focus off myself and onto loving God and people releases my over attention on myself.
Father, please forgive me for being self absorbed, conceited and proud.
Untangle the true sorrow I feel for acting against your will. Release me from self pity into genuine care and concern for you and to kindness for those around me.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Gal 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Self-pity is sin.
Oswald Chambers in My Utmost for His Highest, goes a step further: “Beware of allowing self-consciousness to continue because by slow degrees it will awaken self-pity, and self –pity is Satanic.” -http://lori-benotweary.blogspot.com/2012/09/eating-worms-5-ways-to-fight-self-pity.html
5 Reasons Self-Pity Is a Sin:
1. Self-pity implies that God exists to serve me. If I’m unhappy, then he isn’t serving me to my satisfaction.
2. Self-pity implies that I, instead of God, know what will make me happy, fulfilled, content, and godly.
3. Self-pity’s root is an ungrateful heart.
4. Self-pity leads to murmuring, complaining, and an exalted sense of self.
5. Self-pity is focused inwardly rather than outwardly.
5 Ways to Combat Self-Pity
1. Remember that God is all-powerful and fully in control of the circumstances of our lives.
“Then Job replied to the LORD: ‘I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.’ ” (Job 42:1).
2. Remember that God is all-wise and knows what’s best for us. We can trust him.
“The LORD said to Job, ‘Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!’” (Job 40:1-2).
3. Remember that God is more concerned about our holiness than our happiness.
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it” (Hebrews 12:11).
4. Remember that every good and perfect gift comes from God. Even in the darkest times, we have much to be thankful for (James 1:17).
5. Remember that this world is not all there is. As we respond in faith to God, especially in the hard times, we are banking faith rewards in Heaven.
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal”(2 Corinthians 4:17).
The next time we’re tempted to indulge in self-pity, instead of looking long and hard at ourselves, may we choose instead to fix our eyes on God.
“My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes” (Job 42:5-6).
Where is Heaven? Everywhere. From the farthest reaches of the Universe (space) to the area between nucleus and electrons in the atom (space).
I am made up of 99.99% empty space. If God is in heaven and heaven is in space. God makes up 99.99% of me.
wow
not only does Jesus reside in me but he makes up all of me except one tiny fraction.
I am not a separate god. I am God and only one with Him. there is no other percent. There is no me. Only me with Him. Praise you Jesus. I come to know who I am by knowing you.
I am most alive and satisfied by thinking and focusing on other people and God instead of myself
Eph 4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live worthily of the calling with which you have been called,
Eph 4:2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, Eph 4:3 making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling,
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Eph 4:7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Eph 4:8 Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he captured captives; he gave gifts to men.”

2Cor 2:11 so that we may not be exploited by Satan (for we are not ignorant of his schemes).
Jas 2:1 My brothers and sisters, do not show prejudice if you possess faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ.
Jas 2:2 For if someone comes into your assembly wearing a gold ring and fine clothing, and a poor person enters in filthy clothes, Jas 2:3 do you pay attention to the one who is finely dressed and say, “You sit here in a good place,” and to the poor person, “You stand over there,” or “Sit on the floor”?
I am not a seperate god. I am God and only one with Him. there is no other percent. There is no me. Only me with Him. Praise you Jesus. I come to know who I am by knowing Him.
I am most alive and satisfied by thinking and focusing on other people and God instead of myself

Day 87
-He is good yeast
Be careful of (bad) yeast.
Matt 16:6 “Watch out,” Jesus said to them, “beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
why do you think a whole city contained zero good people. Because of the yeast.
Gen 18:32 Finally Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He replied, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”
Or why did the whole world go bad? Because of the yeast
Gen 6:5 But the LORD saw that the wickedness of humankind had become great on the earth. Every inclination of the thoughts of their minds was only evil all the time.
good yeast on the other hand:
Matt 13:33 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until all the dough had risen.”
Puffed up and proud is bad yeast
1Cor 5:1 It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father’s wife.
1Cor 5:2 And you are proud! Shouldn’t you have been deeply sorrowful instead and removed the one who did this from among you?
1Cor 5:3 For even though I am absent physically, I am present in spirit. And I have already judged the one who did this, just as though I were present.
1Cor 5:4 When you gather together in the name of our Lord Jesus, and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of our Lord Jesus,
1Cor 5:5 turn this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
1Cor 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast affects the whole batch of dough?
1Cor 5:7 Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch of dough – you are, in fact, without yeast. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
1Cor 5:8 So then, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of vice and evil, but with the bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.
1Cor 5:9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people.
1Cor 5:10 In no way did I mean the immoral people of this world, or the greedy and swindlers and idolaters, since you would then have to go out of the world.
1Cor 5:11 But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a Christian who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive, or a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person.
1Cor 5:12 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside?
1Cor 5:13 But God will judge those outside. Remove the evil person from among you.
Luke 12:1 Meanwhile, when many thousands of the crowd had gathered so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
Fear God not people
Luke 12:4 “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more they can do.
Luke 12:5 But I will warn you whom you should fear: Fear the one who, after the killing, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!
Luke 12:6 Aren’t five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God.
Luke 12:7 In fact, even the hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
Gal 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery.
Gal 5:2 Listen! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you at all! Gal 5:3 And I testify again to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. Gal 5:4 You who are trying to be declared righteous by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace!
Gal 5:5 For through the Spirit, by faith, we wait expectantly for the hope of righteousness.
Gal 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision carries any weight – the only thing that matters is faith working through love.
Gal 5:7 You were running well; who prevented you from obeying the truth?
Gal 5:8 This persuasion does not come from the one who calls you!
Gal 5:9 A little yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise!
Gal 5:10 I am confident in the Lord that you will accept no other view. But the one who is confusing you will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.
Gal 5:11 Now, brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed.
Gal 5:12 I wish those agitators would go so far as to castrate themselves!
Gal 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another.
Gal 5:14 For the whole law can be summed up in a single commandment, namely, “You must love your neighbor as yourself.”
Gal 5:15 However, if you continually bite and devour one another, beware that you are not consumed by one another.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity,
Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions,
Gal 5:21 envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God!
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Don’t be an aggitator. God is saying that he wishes they would castrate themselves. pretty harsh.
Don’t be conceited, provoking or jealous.
and don’t be a hypocrite – pretending that you are not these things when you are. Repent.
Don’t say why is God so bad to punish us. Say why am I so bad and deserving of God’s Holy punishment.
Why is He merciful at all to me. i deserve death.
even children are not innocent. Their parents bring to them the polution that they believe. God knows what that child will be, if he be nasty and full of sin.
God is more merciful than we can imagine. He no longer condemns all of humanity by killing them all in a flood. Instead He sends His only born Son to redeem and forgive us.
Don’t say, why has God abandoned me. Ask why have I abandoned God. He never abandons.
Luke 6:36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
–
Day 88
-He is the way
Father, guide me toward your Son. Jesus, I am sorry for everything I made you endure on the cross. Come Holy Spirit, fill me up with your presence.
John 10:7 So Jesus said to them again, “I tell you the solemn truth, I am the door for the sheep.
John 10:8 All who came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and find pasture.
John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me –
Isa 35:1 Let the desert and dry region be happy; let the wilderness rejoice and bloom like a lily!
Isa 35:2 Let it richly bloom; let it rejoice and shout with delight! It is given the grandeur of Lebanon, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the grandeur of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
Isa 35:3 Strengthen the hands that have gone limp, steady the knees that shake!
Isa 35:4 Tell those who panic, “Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.”
Isa 35:5 Then blind eyes will open, deaf ears will hear.
Isa 35:6 Then the lame will leap like a deer, the mute tongue will shout for joy; for water will flow in the desert, streams in the wilderness.
Isa 35:7 The dry soil will become a pool of water, the parched ground springs of water. Where jackals once lived and sprawled out, grass, reeds, and papyrus will grow.
Isa 35:8 A thoroughfare will be there – it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it; it is reserved for those authorized to use it – fools will not stray into it.
Isa 35:9 No lions will be there, no ferocious wild animals will be on it – they will not be found there. Those delivered from bondage will travel on it,
Isa 35:10 those whom the LORD has ransomed will return that way. They will enter Zion with a happy shout. Unending joy will crown them, happiness and joy will overwhelm them; grief and suffering will disappear.
Heb 10:24 And let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works,
–
Day 89
-He is the truth
Truth is like an iron sinker that reaches to the bottom of the ocean, We can be like Jesus… The truth is powerful, Knowing and believing deep within releases Him in our lives
Prov 3:3 Do not let truth and mercy leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
John 3:19 Now this is the basis for judging: that the light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed.
John 3:21 But the one who practices the truth comes to the light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds have been done in God.
Ps 139:23 Examine me, and probe my thoughts! Test me, and know my concerns!
Ps 139:24 See if there is any idolatrous tendency in me, and lead me in the reliable ancient path!
Acts 17:11 These Jews were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they eagerly received the message, examining the scriptures carefully every day to see if these things were so.
Father, open my mind to you. Thank you for your word in the Bible and your word in my heart and mind and soul. I love you
–
Day 90
-He is the life
Gen 2:7 The LORD God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Deut 11:8 Now pay attention to all the commandments I am giving you today, so that you may be strong enough to enter and possess the land where you are headed,
Deut 11:9 and that you may enjoy long life in the land the LORD promised to give to your ancestors and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Deut 11:10 For the land where you are headed is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, a land where you planted seed and which you irrigated by hand like a vegetable garden.
Deut 11:11 Instead, the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy is one of hills and valleys, a land that drinks in water from the rains,
Deut 11:12 a land the LORD your God looks after. He is constantly attentive to it from the beginning to the end of the year.
Deut 11:13 Now, if you pay close attention to my commandments that I am giving you today and love the LORD your God and serve him with all your mind and being,
Deut 11:14 then he promises, “I will send rain for your land in its season, the autumn and the spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine, and olive oil.
Deut 11:15 I will provide pasture for your livestock and you will eat your fill.”
1Sam 18:3 Jonathan made a covenant with David, for he loved him as much as he did his own life.
Luke 17:33 Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
Rev 2:8 “To the angel of the church in Smyrna write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the one who is the first and the last, the one who was dead, but came to life:
Rev 2:9 ‘I know the distress you are suffering and your poverty (but you are rich). I also know the slander against you by those who call themselves Jews and really are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Rev 2:10 Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. The devil is about to have some of you thrown into prison so you may be tested, and you will experience suffering for ten days. Remain faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown that is life itself.
Rev 2:11 The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will in no way be harmed by the second death.’
*** This is by no means a complete list as God is endless and what can be discovered about Him goes on and on forever.

Move toward day 91 by contemplating Him and hearing His word.
