‘I don’t have enough time’ or ‘I have too much time.’ Are two thoughts I started worrying about this morning.

Instead of worrying I needed to turn to Jesus. With Him I have all the time I need to accomplish what He wants me to today and at this moment.

Opening His kingdom and getting into His timing involves a lot of letting go.

There are fake things that seem good. For example, I can stay calm for a while until I become so frustrated that I want to kill something.

Jesus’ peace on the other hand is not struggling to remain calm. It is peaceful so completely that it produces more peace. It is a calmness no matter what is going on.

His peace does not worry. It is not striving to get its own way. It is infinite and pure and touching a small piece of it transforms me into a more peaceful person. Praise Him. It is Jesus’ peace. He gives it abundantly, freely and all the time.

I need to become humble to ask for His peace. I need to quit pretending and striving to be still on my own power. I can start by thanking Him. Thankfulness encompasses humility. I admit that I can’t do it when I am thankful. I actually need Him to have any real peace.

Thank you Jesus for providing peace that overcomes all my worry.  Thank You for Your infinite peace.

Phil 4:6-7 (KJ2000) ” 6 Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
