When I can’t remember it disturbs me greatly.  I found a passage that talks about other people being weak and needy:

1Cor 1:26-31 (KJ2000) ” 26 For you see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30 And of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

I recommend looking at these characteristics of Jesus because He fills my weaknesses.

Prov 28:25-27 (KJ2000) ” 25 He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife: but he that puts his trust in the LORD shall be prospered. 26 He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whosoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered. 27 He that gives unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.”

2Cor 10:3-6 (KJ2000) ” 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) 5 Casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having a readiness to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

Prov 3:5 (KJ2000) ” 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. ”

It turns out there is a lot of nutritional information on helping with ‘brain fog’

Then some verses came to me which I did not want to share because they are harsh and reveal the depravity of me.

Rom 1:18 (KJ2000) ” 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; ”

Rom 1:21-24 (KJ2000) ” 21 Because, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:”

Rom 1:28 (KJ2000) ” 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not proper; ”

‘Father please forgive me. Thank you for being on my side. I need you and only You.”

Acts 17:24-27 (KJ2000) ” 24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshiped with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And has made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:”

Phil 4:19-20 (KJ2000) ” 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

2Cor 9:6-8 (KJ2000) ” 6 But this I say, He who sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”

Col 1:21-23 (KJ2000) ” 21 And you, that were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblamable and unreprovable in his sight: 23 If you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature who is under heaven; of which I Paul am made a minister;”

Is the old man creeping in when I can’t remember what I need to?
Sometimes yes.

More often I have gone astray. I am not worried about remembering when I am with Him. He fills me with wisdom and grace.

Col 1:9-14 (KJ2000) ” 9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That you might walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”

Pray for me and leave your name so that I can pray for you to be ‘filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”
