I was thinking about sleeping at work last night so Elaine wouldn’t have to back up the blue car while I was sleeping at home.
The solution never occurred to me. I woke up in time to move it for her this morning.
Praise you Jesus.

Heb 9:14 (KJ2000) “14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? ”
Heb 10:22-25 (KJ2000) “22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.”
Heb 9:22 (KJ2000) “22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. ”
1Cor 5:1-13 (KJ2000) “1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.2 And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that has done this deed might be taken away from among you.3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that has so done this deed,4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,5 To deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.6 Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:10 Yet not entirely with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must you needs go out of the world.11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat.12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are outside? do not you judge them that are within?13 But them that are outside God judges. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.”
1Cor 5:7 (KJ2000) “7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: ”
Eph 4:1-32 (KJ2000) “1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation by which you are called,2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.8 Therefore he says, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:14 That we from now on be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ:16 From whom the whole body being fitly joined together and knit together by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto licentiousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.20 But you have not so learned Christ;21 If so be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:22 That you put off concerning the former way of life the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;24 And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.25 Therefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.26 Be angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:27 Neither give place to the devil.28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs.29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed unto the day of redemption.31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:32 And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.”
If my attitude is good. There is no disunity. I am desiring God’s will and so are you and this way we work together.
(all things work together for our good)
Eph 4:15 (KJ2000) “15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ: ”
Eph 4:22-23 (KJ2000) “22 That you put off concerning the former way of life the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;”
Col 3:5-10 (KJ2000) “5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry:6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience:7 In which you also once walked, when you lived in them.8 But now you also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy talk out of your mouth.9 Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds;10 And have put on the new man, that is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:”
Gal 3:27-28 (KJ2000) “27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Mark 10:6-9 (KJ2000) “6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife;8 And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh.9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.”
This looks like an apparent contradiction. There is neither male nor female and yet God made them male and female. I think this is much easier to resolve in our minds.
Both verses really relate a unity among male and female. Sure they are fleshly different but does that really matter? Aren’t we all children of God?
I guess, ‘I’m sorry’ is in order. I was thinking it doesn’t matter what color the skin is either and yet it does when people are not being fair because of it.
I think the same goes for feminists. Even though I was thinking about starting a masculinist movement.
How to wrap it up in a nice soundbite?
‘Father please purge the evil from my life that I am responsible for. Forgive me for judging other people. They are beautiful because you made them. Help my appreciation grow. Cleanse me from all evil so my attitude can be better.’
I was touched by the tossed to and fro part:
Eph 4:14-15 (KJ2000) “14 That we from now on be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ:
I often feel tossed to and fro. It is helpful to me to stick to a doctrine but I must guard against adhering too strictly to rules by hearing the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
